Abstract

The development of information technology has significantly impacted how people communicate, access, and process information, particularly through the internet and mobile devices such as smartphones. This progress has created new opportunities, including crowdfunding platforms that have become essential tools for non-profit organizations to raise funds for various social initiatives, including humanitarian campaigns. This research focuses on the website baikitumudah.com, utilized by Sekolah Relawan to raise funds for Palestine amidst the ongoing conflict. It highlights the crucial role of crowdfunding in supporting humanitarian initiatives by involving direct community participation. The aim is to analyze and understand the communication strategies employed by the NGO Sekolah Relawan in their crowdfunding campaign for Palestine through this platform. The study adopts a qualitative descriptive approach to provide a factual and accurate description of the communication strategies applied. Data was collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis, using purposive sampling to select relevant informants. Sekolah Relawan has successfully implemented effective communication strategies to promote their crowdfunding campaign, particularly for the Palestine issue. The use of storytelling, transparency in fund management, and collaboration with influencers are key elements in building trust and expanding the campaign's reach. However, challenges such as technical issues with the baikitumudah.com platform and limited public awareness of its affiliation with Sekolah Relawan require further attention. Strengthening team capacity and internal socialization is proposed to support the success of future campaigns. . Keywords: Communication Strategies, Crowdfunding, Website, Campaign Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah membawa dampak signifikan terhadap cara manusia berkomunikasi, mengakses, dan mengolah informasi, khususnya melalui internet dan perangkat mobile seperti smartphone. Hal ini membuka peluang baru, salah satunya melalui platform crowdfunding yang menjadi alat penting bagi organisasi non-profit dalam menggalang dana untuk berbagai inisiatif sosial, termasuk campaign kemanusiaan. Penelitian ini berfokus pada website baikitumudah.com, yang digunakan oleh Sekolah Relawan untuk menggalang dana bagi Palestina di tengah konflik yang terus berlangsung. Penelitian ini menyoroti peran penting crowdfunding dalam mendukung inisiatif kemanusiaan dengan melibatkan partisipasi langsung dari masyarakat. Tujuannya adalah untuk menganalisis dan memahami strategi komunikasi yang diterapkan oleh NGO Sekolah Relawan dalam campaign crowdfunding untuk Palestina melalui website tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif yang bertujuan memberikan deskripsi faktual dan akurat mengenai strategi komunikasi yang diterapkan. Data dikumpulkan melalui metode observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan analisis dokumen, dengan teknik purposive sampling untuk memilih informan yang relevan. Sekolah Relawan telah berhasil menerapkan strategi komunikasi yang efektif dalam mempublikasikan campaign crowdfunding mereka, khususnya untuk isu Palestina. Pemanfaatan storytelling, transparansi dalam pengelolaan dana, dan kolaborasi dengan influencer menjadi kunci utama dalam membangun kepercayaan dan memperluas jangkauan campaign. Namun, tantangan seperti kendala teknis pada platform baikitumudah.com dan kurangnya kesadaran publik terhadap afiliasi dengan Sekolah Relawan perlu diperhatikan. Penguatan kapasitas tim dan sosialisasi internal diusulkan untuk mendukung keberhasilan campaign di masa mendatang. Kata Kunci : Strategi Komunikasi, Crowdfunding, Website, Campaign
