Abstract
A documentary film is a work that depicts real events or provides information about actual occurrences, infused with the creator’s ideas. It is compellingly presented through visuals. The purpose of a documentary is to showcase the current state of literacy in Jakarta using audio-visual format. The production process for the documentary “Jejak Kata Literacy in Jakarta” involves three stages: pre-production, production, and post-production. In the production phase of this documentary, the writer serves as the cinematographer responsible for creating a wishlist based on the images to be captured. During this process, the writer draws on the concepts of Rule of Thirds and Triangulation. Thus, the author realizes that a good shooting concept will be able to determine the delivery of the message to the audience in the documentary film "Footprints of Literacy in the City of Jakarta". Karya film dokumenter adalah sebuah karya yang menggambarkan peristiwa nyata atau berisi informasi kejadian yang benar-benar terjadi dengan kekuatan ide dari pembuatnya, yang disusun menarik melalui gambar-gambar. Karya ini bertujuan untuk memperlihatkan bagaimana kondisi literasi di kota Jakarta pada saat ini dalam bentuk audio-visual. Proses pembuatan film dokumenter “Jejak Kata Literasi di Kota Jakarta” melibatkan tiga tahap, yaitu: pra-produksi, produksi, dan pasca produksi. Dalam tahap produksi film dokumenter ini, penulis bertugas sebagai juru kamera yang bertugas membuat wishlist berdasarkan gambar yang akan diambil. Dalam proses ini, penulis mengambil gambar dengan konsep Rule of Third dan Triangulasi. Dengan demikian, penulis menyadari dengan konsep pengambilan gambar yang baik akan mampu menentukan penyampaian pesan kepada para penonton dalam film dokumenter “Jejak Kata Literasi di Kota Jakarta” Kata Kunci: Film Dokumenter, Juru Kamera, Rule of Thirds dan Triangulasi, Jejak Kata Literasi di Kota Jakarta
