Abstract

The study aims to examine the factors that influence firm value. There are several factors used, including Company Size, Profitability, Solvency, and Institutional Ownership. The purpose of this research is to test empirically whether Company Size, Profitability, Solvency, and Institutional Ownership affect firm value. The population in this study are is manufacturing companies in the food and beverage sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018-2022. The sample in this research is 13 companies with 5 years of observation, so the total sample is 65 sample data. The sampling method used purposive sampling method. The data used in this study are secondary obtained from the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) and the official website of each company. The data analysis method used in this study is multiple linear analysis with the help of the IBM SPSS 25 application. The results of this research show that company size has a positive effect on company value, and solvency has a negative effect on company value, while profitability and institutional ownership have no effect on company value. Keywords: Company Size, Profitability, Solvency, Institutional Ownership, and Company Value Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi nilai perusahaan. Terdapat beberapa faktor yang digunakan antara lain Ukuran Perusahaan, Profitabilitas, Solvabilitas, dan Kepemilikan Institusional. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji secara empiris apakah ukuran perusahaan, profitabilitas, solvabilitas, dan kepemilikan institusional berpengaruh terhadap nilaiperusahaan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Perusahaan sektor industri makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2018- 2022. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 13 perusahaan dengan pengamatan 5 tahun, maka jumlah darisampel keseluruhan adalah 65 data sampel. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah skunder yang diperoleh dari situs resmi Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) dan situs resmi pada perusahaan masing-masing. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan aplikasi IBM SPSS 25. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh positif terhadap nilai perusahaan, dan solvabilitas berpengaruh negatif terhadap nilai perusahaan sedangkan profitabilitas dan kepemilikan institusional tidak berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan.
