Abstract

In the construction industry, the practice of direct payments by service users to subcontractors has become a common phenomenon. This practice occurs when service users, as main clients, pay subcontractors directly without going through the main contractor. This aims to speed up cash flow and ensure timely payments to subcontractors. However, the practice of direct payments also raises various problems and impacts that need to be considered. In this research, the approach used is a quantitative approach. This research uses a causal analysis method because this research aims to test a hypothesis regarding the influence of one or several independent variables on the dependent variable. The population determined in this research includes building project stakeholders who focus on: Project Owners, and Main Contractors, Sub-contractors/Suppliers, totaling 110 respondents, using the Solving formula with a margin of error of 5%, the number of respondents was 86 people. Research results: Direct project payments have a positive and significant effect on project costs, so the better the project direct payments, the better the project costs, the effect of project direct payments on costs is included in the medium category. Project direct payments have a positive and significant effect on project time, the better the payments. the project direct payment will have a better project time, the effect of project direct payment on time is included in the medium category. Project direct payment has a positive and significant effect on project quality, the better the project direct payment, the better the project quality, the effect of project direct payment on time is included in the category low Keywords: Direct Payment, Cost Performance, Time Performance, Quality Performance Pada industri konstruksi, praktik pembayaran langsung oleh pengguna jasa kepada subkontraktor telah menjadi fenomena umum. Praktik ini terjadi ketika pengguna jasa, sebagai klien utama, membayar subkontraktor secara langsung tanpa melalui kontraktor utama. Hal ini bertujuan untuk mempercepat aliran kas dan memastikan pembayaran yang tepat waktu kepada subkontraktor. Namun, praktik pembayaran langsung ini juga menimbulkan berbagai permasalahan dan dampak yang perlu dipertimbangkan. Pada penelitian ini, pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis kausal karena pada penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menguji hipotesis mengenai pengaruh satu atau beberapa variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen. Populasi yang ditentukan dalam penelitian ini mencakup para pemangku kepentingan proyek bangunan gedung yang difokuskan pada: Pemilik Proyek, dan Kontraktor Utama Sub-kontraktor/Supplier sebanyak 110 responden, dengan menggunakan rumus slovin dengan margin eror 5% didapat jumlah responden sebanyak 86 orang. Hasil penelitian Pembayaran langsung proyek berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap biaya proyek, maka semakin baik pembayaran langsung proyek akan semakin baik biaya proyek, pengaruh pembayaran langsung proyek terhadap biaya termasuk dalam kategori sedang Pembayaran langsung proyek berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap waktu proyek, maka semakin baik pembayaran langsung proyek akan semakin baik waktu proyek, pengaruh pembayaran langsung proyek terhadap waktu termasuk dalam kategori sedang Pembayaran langsung proyek berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap mutu proyek, maka semakin baik pembayaran langsung proyek akan semakin baik mutu proyek, pengaruh pembayaran langsung proyek terhadap waktu termasuk dalam kategori rendah Kata Kunci: Pembayaran Langsung, Kinerja Biaya, Kinerja Waktu, Kinerja Mutu
