Abstract

Self-concept is a total p icture of ourselves, namely what we believe about who we are, our abilities and characteristics. Self Self-concept is how a person assesses himself positively or negatively. Individuals who have a positive self self-concept are confident in their ability to overcome problems and feel equal to other people. Theory Self Self-concept is the image a person has about himself, which is formed through experiences obtained from interactions with the environment. Self Self-concept is not an innate factor, but rather develops from cont inuous and differentiated experience This type of research is qualitative research which aims to analyze the self self-concept and online games of point blank game players who usually play point blank games. The data collection method for this research is usin g interview guidelines. The research analysis unit includes key informants and additional informants, which include point blank game players. The results of the research show that there are similarities in self self-concept between the five key informants befo re and after getting to know the point blank game, that is, before getting to know the point blank game, they generally did not know in depth about their personalities, but after getting to know the point blank game, they began to know more about their per sonalities. In fact, many of them have similar characters to the original characters of the Point Blank game players. In other words, there is a positive self self-concept and a negative selfself-concept for each key informant Keywords: Self Concept in the Point Bl ank Online Game Konsep diri adalah gambaran total terhadap diri sendiri, yakni apa yang kita percayai mengenai siapa diri kita, kemampuan dan sifat sifat-sifat kita. Konsep diri adalah bagaimana seseorang menilai dirinya secara positif atau negatif. Individu yang memiliki konsep diri positif yakin akan kemampuannya dalam mengatasi masalah, merasa setara dengan orang lain . Teori Konsep diri merupakan gambaran yang dimiliki s eseorang tentang dirinya, yang dibentuk melalui pengalaman – pengalaman yang diperoleh dari interaksi dengan lingkungan. Konsep diri bukan merupakan faktor bawaan, melainkan berkembang dari pengalaman yang terusterus-menerus dan terdiferensiasi Tipe Penelitia n ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis konsep diri dan game online pada pemain game point blank yang biasa bermain game point blank. Metode pengumpulan data penelitian ini adalah menggunakan pedoman wawancara. Unit analisi s penelitian meliputi informan kunci dan informan tambahan, yang meliputi para pemain game point blank. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa ada persamaan konsep diri antara kelima key informan sebelum dan sesudah mengenal game point blank yakti sebelum mengenal game point blank, mereka umumnya belum mengenal secara mendalam tentang pribadinya, tetapi setelah mengenal game point blank, mereka mulai mengenal lebih dalam tentang pribadinya, bahkan banyak diantaranya memiliki kesamaan karakter dengan karakt er asli pemain game point blank tersebut. Dengan kata lain, ada konsep diri positif dan konsep diri negati negatif pada masing -masing key informan Kata Kunci : Konsep Diri Pada Game Online Point Blank
