Abstract

This study aims to test and analyze the effect of job satisfaction and job stress on employee performance. The sampling technique uses random sampling with a sample size of 52 people. Data collection techniques use questionnaires that have been tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis technique used to answerthe hypothesis is multiple linlinear. The results showed that job satisfaction has an influence on employee performance. The most influencing statements are employeeattitudes and working conditions. This can be interpreted that every increase in job satisfaction by 1 unit, it will increase employee performance. Work stress has an influence on employee performance. Work stress in this study was measured based on indicators, namely task demands, workload and interpersonal demands. Especially in the indicator of task demands, many employees feel high work stress. This is evident from the responses of employees who respond negatively to task demands. Job satisfaction and job stress have an influence on employee performance. The most influencing statement is work stress. It states that the higher the work stress, the lower the employee's performance. Keywords: Job Satisfaction, Work Stress, Employee Performance Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh kepuasan kerja dan stress kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan random sampling dengan ukuran sampel sebanyak 52 orang. Teknikpengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner yang telah diuji validitas dan reabilitasnya. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan untuk menjawab hipotesis adalah linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan kepuasan kerja mempunyai pengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan. Pernyataan yang paling mempengaruhi yaitu sikap karyawan dan kondisi kerja. Hal ini dapat diartikan bahwa setiap peningkatan kepuasan kerja sebesar 1 satuan, maka akan meningkatkan kinerja karyawan. Stress kerja mempunyai pengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan. Stres kerja dalam penelitian ini diukur berdasarkan indikator, yakni tuntutan tugas, beban kerja dan tuntutan antar pribadi. Khususnya pada indikator tuntutan tugas karyawan banyak yang merasakan stres kerja yang tinggi. Hal ini terbukti dari tanggapan karyawan yang merespon negatif mengenai tuntutan tugas. Kepuasan kerja dan stres kerja mempunyai pengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan. Pernyataan yang paling mempengaruhi yaitu stres kerja. Hal tersebut menyatakan bahwa semakin tinggi stres kerja maka akan mengakibatkan penurunan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Kata Kunci: Kepuasan Kerja, Stress Kerja, Kinerja Karyawan
