Abstract
The Modern Parliament is an important concept in a parliamentary institution of the Indonesian House of Representatives, especially indicators of information transparency and information technology within it. Public Relations of the General Secretariat of the House of Representatives (DPR RI) carried out the implementation of modern parliamentary indicators through Instagram @edukasi parliament. This study aims to find out the management of social media @edukasiparlemen in realizing the information transparation of the modern parliament of DPR-RI. The theoretical study included five previous studies focusing on social media management as well as information transparency. The study used a contractivism paradigm, with a qualitative approach through case study methods, while the study subjects consisted of 6 informants. Data collection techniques include primary data including interviews & observations and secondary data including documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and also drawing conclusions, and data validity checking techniques using source triangulation. The results of this study show that the Public Relations of the Secretariat General of the DPR RI has implemented good social media planning and management. Information transparency continues to be implemented through Instagram @edukasiparlemen social media content in an effort to realize the modern parliament of the DPR RI. Parlemen Modern menjadi konsep penting dalam suatu lembaga parlemen DPR RI, terkhusus indikator transparansi informasi dan teknologi informasi di dalamnya. Humas Setjen DPR RI melakukan penerapan indikator parlemen modern melalui Instagram @edukasiparlemen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengelolaan media sosial @edukasiparlemen dalam mewujudkan transparasi informasi parlemen modern DPR-RI. Pada bagian kajian teoritis meliputi lima penelitian terdahulu yang berfokus kepada pengelolaan media sosial dan juga transparansi informasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan paradigma kontruktivisme, dengan pendekatan kualitatif melalui metode studi kasus , adapun subjek penelitian yang terdiri dari 6 informan. Teknik pengungmpulan data meliputi data primer yang meliputi wawancara & observasi dan data sekunder meliputi dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data dan juga menarik kesimpulan, dan teknik pemeriksaan keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Humas Setjen DPR RI sudah melakukan perencanaan dan pengelolaan media sosial dengan baik. Trasnparansi informasi terus diimpelementasikan melalui konten-konten media sosial Instagram @edukasiparlemen dalam upaya mewujudkan parlemen modern DPR RI.
