Abstract

Teachers who teach in special schools have a teaching role in achieving the expected educational goals, are required to be able to understand differences in personality traits in children with different special needs, such as differences in theability to understand lessons, the ability to control emotions, especially in children who are hyperactive and the ability establish relationships with friends around him. So in this study, the approach taken is the Effect of Training, and Emotional Intelligence on Competence Mediated by Intrinsic Motivation in SLBN 01 Teachers in Bengkulu City. The research method used is Quantitative Causal. The population of this study were teachers at SLBN 01 Bengkulu City with a sample of 90 teachers. This study uses PLS SEM data analysis where data processing uses the SmartPLS 3.0 application. This study proves the direct effect is Training has a positive and significant effect on Competence, Emotional Intelligence has a positive and significant effect on Competence, Intrinsic Motivation has a positive and significant effect on Competence, Training has a positive and significant effect on Intrinsic Motivation, Emotional Intelligence has a positive and significant effect on Intrinsic Motivation . Then this study proves the indirect effect that training has a positive and significant effect on intrinsic motivation through competence and Emotional Intelligence has a positive and significant effect on intrinsic motivation through competence Keywords:Training, Emotional Intelligence, Competence, Intrinsic Motivation Guru yang mengajar pada sekolah luar biasa memiliki peran mengajar dalam mencapai tujuan pendidikan yang diharapkan,dituntut mampu memahami perbedaan karakter kepribadian pada anak yang berbeda-beda kebutuhan khususnya, seperti perbedaan dalam kemampuan memahami pelajaran, kemampuan dalam mengontrol emosi terutama pada anak yang hiperaktif serta kemampuan menjalin hubungan dengan teman disekitarnya. Maka pada penelitian ini, pendekatan yang diambil adalah Pengaruh Pelatihan, dan Kecerdasan Emosional Terhadap Kompetensi Dimediasi Motivasi Intrinsik Pada Guru SLBN 01 Kota Bengkulu”Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Kuantitatif Kausal. Populasi penelitian ini adalah Guru SLBN 01 Kota Bengkulu dengan sampel yang digunakan sebanyak90Guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis data SEM PLS di mana pengolahan datanya memakai aplikasi SmartPLS 3.0.Penelitian ini membuktikan pengaruh langsungnya adalahPelatihan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kompetensi, Kecerdasan Emosional berpengaruh positif dan signifikanterhadap Kompetensi,Motivasi Instrinsik berpengaruh positifdan signifikan terhadap Kompetensi,Pelatihan berpengaruh positifdan signifikanterhadap Motivasi Intrinsik,Kecerdasan Emosional berpengaruh positifdan signifikanterhadap Motivasi Instrinsik.Kemudian Penelitian ini membuktikan pengaruh tidak langsung bahwa Pelatihanberpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi intrinsik melalui kompetensidanKecerdasan Emosionalberpengaruh positifdansignifikan terhadap motivasi intrinsik melalui kompetensi.
