Abstract

PT. Techking Enterprises Indonesia is a company engaged in the Bottled Drinking Water (AMDK) industry, with production results in the form of drinking water in Gallon 19 Liter, Bottles 1000 Ml, and Bottles 500 Ml. During production in June 2019 - May 2020, there were 9936 pcs 500 ml bottle production defects or a defect percentage of 11.50%, this amount exceeded the company's target which targets a maximum defect percentage of 3%. With these defects, this study aims to determine the type of defect and the cause of the highest defect in the 500 Ml Bottle product, and provide recommendations using the DMAIC method (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control). From the define stage by identifying the CTQ, it is known that the causes of product defects for the 500 Ml Bottle are leaky bottles, flat bottles, white bottles, ringed bottles, uneven bottle thickness and tilted bottles. In the measure stage, it is known that the DPMO value is 19.133.51 and the sigma value is 3.57. In the analyze stage, a cause-and-effect diagram is used to analyze the causes of a problem and it is known that the cause of the biggest defect in the 500 Ml Bottle product is the tilted bottle with a defect percentage of 46%. In this improve stage, the Potential Failure Mode Effect and Analysis method of the largest type of defect is used. At the control stage the control uses DPMO and Control P. From the improvement results, it is found that the DPMO decreased by 15,641.64 to 3491.87 and there was an increase in the sigma value to 4.20, meaning that the sigma value increased by 0.63 sigma. And from the Control P graph, there is no more data that is out of control. Keywords: Quality Control,Production Bottle 500 Ml, RPN, DMAIC PT. Techking Enterprises Indonesia adalah perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang industri Air Minum Dalam Kemasan (AMDK), dengan hasil produksi berupa air minum dalam kemasan Galon 19 Liter, Botol 1000 Ml, dan Botol 500 Ml. Selama produksi pada bulan juni 2019 – mei 2020 terjadi defect produksi Botol 500 Ml sebanyak 9936 pcs atau persentase defect sebesar 11.50%, jumlah tersebut melebihi batas dari target perusahaan yang menargetkan persentase defect maksimal sebesar 3%. Dengan adanya defect tersebut maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis defect dan penyebab defect tertinggi pada produk Botol 500 Ml, serta memberikan rekomendasi menggunakan metode DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control). Dari tahap define dengan mengidentifikasi CTQ diketahui bahwa penyebab defect produk Botol 500 Ml adalah Botol bocor, Botol Gepeng, Botol putih, Botol bercincin, Tebal botol tidak rata dan Botol berdiri miring. Pada tahap measure diketahui nilai DPMO sebesar 19.133,51 dan nilai sigma sebesar 3.57. Pada tahap analyze digunakan diagram sebab - akibat untuk menganalisa sebab - sebab suatu masalah dan diketahui bahwa penyebab defect terbesar pada produk Botol 500 Ml adalah Botol berdiri miring dengan persentase defect sebesar 46%. Pada tahap improve ini digunakan metode Potential Failure Mode Effect and Analysis dari jenis defect terbesar. Pada tahap control pengendalian menggunakan DPMO dan Control P. Dari hasil perbaikan didapatkan penurunan DPMO sebanyak 15.641,64 menjadi 3491,87 dan terjadi peningkatan nilai sigma menjadi sebesar 4.20 artinya nilai sigma naik sebesar 0.63 sigma. Dan dari grafik Control P sudah tidak ada lagi data yang out of control. Kata Kunci : Pengendalian Kualitas, Produksi Botol 500 Ml, RPN, DMAIC.
