Abstract

Cultural park is a medium to display art and cultural activities. Art is a cultural product of a nation, the higher the artistic value of a nation, the higher the cultural value contained therein. Art as an important part of culture is never separated from society, because art is a means to realize all forms of expression of human creativity. With the Neo Vernacular concept, the Yogyakarta Cultural Park building is more adaptable to the surrounding environment where the majority of the houses still use Joglo traditional houses. And the concept of Green Building can help minimize the use of electrical energy during the day. Keywords: Cultural Park, Neo Vernacular, Green Building Taman budaya merupakan sebuah media untuk menampilkan kegiatan seni dan budaya. Kesenian merupakan produk budaya suatu bangsa, semakin tinggi nilai kesenian satu bangsa maka semakin tinggi nilai budaya yang terkandung didalamnya. Kesenian sebagai salah satu bagian penting dari kebudayaan tidak pernah lepas dari masyarakat, sebab kesenian merupakan sarana untuk mewujudkan segala bentuk ungkapan kreatifitas manusia. Dengan adanya konsep Neo Vernakular menjadikan bangunan Taman Budaya Yogyakarta ini lebih beradaptasi dengan lingkungan sekitar yang mana mayoritas masih banyaknya rumah yang menggunakan rumah adat Joglo. Dan adanya konsep Green Building bisa membantu meminimalisir penggunaan energi listrik pada siang hari. Kata Kunci : Taman Budaya, Neo Vernakular, Green Building
