Abstract
Jogja Planning Gallery is a new space planned by the Government of the Special Region of Yogyakarta in the Malioboro area which will become a place or educational and cultural center located in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, there is past culture and architecture in existing buildings and is in the area of the philosophy axis of being a symbol of the connecting point of the past and the future so that the Jogja Planning Gallery can become a miniature gallery for planning Jogja in the future, spatial planning plans for the strategic space units of the sultanates and duchies in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, the history of the development of Yogyakarta as a cultural city, a heritage area culture, environmental and cultural conditions in Yogyakarta, with the theme of neo vernacular architecture is expected to be able to produce a design that still takes into account the concept of structuring the surrounding area properly as an effort to preserve and develop the City of Yogyakarta as a World Heritage and maintain the philosophical values it contains and display the values - universal noble values and become one of the interesting tourist objects in the city of Yogyakarta. Keyword: Jogja Planning Gallery, Neo Vernacular Jogja Planning Gallery merupakan ruang baru yang direncanakan oleh Pemerintah Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta di kawasan Malioboro yang akan menjadi sebuah wadah atau tempat pusat edukasi dan budaya yang berada di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, terdapat budaya dan arsitektur masa lalu pada existing bangunan dan berada di kawasan sumbu filosofi menjadi symbol titik penghubung masa lalu dan masa depan sehingga Jogja Planning Gallery dapat menjadi wadah miniature gallery perencanaan Jogja di masa yang akan datang, rencana penataan ruang satuan ruang strategis kesultanan dan kadipaten yang ada di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, sejarah perkembangan Yogyakarta sebagai kota budaya, Kawasan cagar budaya, kondisi lingkungan dan budaya di Yogyakarta, dengan tema arsitektur neo vernakular diharapkan mampu menghasilkan sebuah desain yang tetap memperhatikan konsep penataan kawasan di sekitarnya dengan baik sebagai upaya untuk melestarikan dan mengembangkan Kota Yogyakarta sebagai Warisan Dunia serta mempertahankan nilai nilai filosofi yang dikandungnya serta menampilkan nilai-nilai luhur yang universal dan menjadi salah satu objek wisata yang menarik di Kota Yogyakarta.
