Abstract
Indonesia is a country with many ethnicities, religions and races. Indonesia is a country that upholds the divinity written in the first precept of Pancasila which reads "The One and Only God". One of the religions recognized by Indonesia is Christianity. The right to freedom of religion is also guaranteed in the Constitution. The main activity carried out in the church is mainly to worship but, the administrators or church assemblies hold a lot of spiritual activities that can be done in the church. These spiritual activities can be followed both from adults, youth, adolescents and also children. As the years increase, Christians are increasing and this of course affects in terms of needs both from human resources and also room facilities that can support the people in carrying out activities. Places that can accommodate various services or spiritual activities are very limited and even if there are, the facilities are not too complete. Therefore, the design of Christian centers and theological colleges is expected to support all activities, both spiritual and formal education. This Christian center and theological college is designed with an Insertion Architecture approach. Keywords: Church, Christian Center, Insertion Architecture Indonesia merupakan negara dengan banyak suku, agama dan ras. Indonesia menjadi negara yang menjunjung tinggi ketuhanan yang tertulis dalam sila pertama Pancasila yang berbunyi “Ketuhanan Yang Maha Esa”. Salah satu agama yang di akui oleh Indonesia adalah agama Kristen. Hak kebebasan beragama juga dijamin dalam UUD. Kegiatan utama yang di lakukan di gereja yang paling utama adalah untuk beribadah tetapi, para pengurus atau majelis gereja banyak sekali mengadakan kegiatan kerohanian yang dapat dilakukan di gereja. Kegiatan kerohanian tersebut dapat di ikuti baik dari orang dewasa, pemuda, remaja dan juga anak-anak. Semakin bertambahnya tahun, umat kristiani semakin bertambah dan hal ini tentu saja memengaruhi dari segi kebutuhan baik dari sumber daya manusia dan juga fasilitas ruangan yang dapat menunjang para umat dalam melakukan kegiatan. Tempat yang dapat menampung berbagai pelayanan atau kegiatan kerohanian ini sangat terbatas dan jika pun ada, fasilitasnya pun tidak terlalu lengkap. Oleh karena itu, perancangan christian center dan sekolah tinggi teologi diharapkan dapat menunjang seluruh kegiatan baik rohani dan pendidikan formal. Christian center dan sekolah tinggi teologi ini di rancang dengan pendekatan Insertion Architecture. Kata kunci : Gereja, Christian Center, Insertion Architecture
