Abstract

Population growth is increasing every year by birth and urbanization factors, thus causing many people who have difficulty in housing problems, especially for low-income people. One of the alternatives carried out by the Tangerang City government is by building a vertical residence in the form of flats. This Gebang raya flat has a ownership system in the form of rent. Therefore, it is called Rusunawa (Simple Flats for Rent). The design of the Rusunawa Gebang Raya building is designed by responding to the local climate. To meet the comfort of residents and building users. Keywords: A Flats, Simple Flats for Rent, Tropical Architecture Pertumbuhan penduduk yang semakin meningkat setiap tahunnya oleh factor kelahiran dan urbanisasi, sehingga menyebabkan banyaknya penduduk yang kesulitan dalam masalah tempat tinggal terutama bagi masyarakat berpenghasilan rendah. Salah satu alternatif yang dilakukan pemerintah Kota Tangerang yaitu dengan membangun hunian vertical berupa rumah susun. Rumah susun Gebang raya ini memiliki system kepemilikannya berupa sewa. Maka dari itu dinamakannya Rusunawa (Rumah Susun Sederhana Sewa). Perancangan bangunan Rusunawa Gebang Raya ini didesain dengan merespon iklim setempat. Untuk memenuhi kenyamanan penghuni maupun pengguna bangunan. Kata Kunci: Rumah Susun, Rusunawa, Arsitektur Tropis
