Abstract

Hotel Resort is an inn that is built in an area or place with beautiful natural scenery. Usually, you can easily find this type of lodging around tourist sites with natural nuances such as beaches or mountains. Resort resorts can also be associated with interests related to sporting activities, health, conventions, religious and other business purposes. Based on the definition above, it can be interpreted that a resort is a resort located in tourist areas such as on the beach, in the mountains which has special facilities for leisure activities where these facilities are intended for visitors who come to enjoy the existing natural potential and recreation. Seeing the emotional impact caused by natural beauty and thermal comfort always brings positive perceptions for humans. Kuningan Regency, precisely in the tourist area of Mount Ciremai, offers these two things, starting from the panorama of the highest mountain in West Java, the natural beauty around the mountains, and the cool breeze. Between the stunning peaks of Mount Ciremai, there is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. Inspired by the harmony between people and nature, this area can be managed to become a tourism area by building resorts, hotels and conventions that maintain the surrounding landscape. Responding with the application of Biomimicry Architecture which still maintains the natural surroundings. Keywords: Hotel Resort, Convention, Architectural Biomimicry Hotel Resort adalah penginapan yang yang dibangun di dalam area atau tempat dengan pemandangan alam yang indah. Biasanya, Anda dapat dengan mudah menemukan jenis penginapan seperti ini di sekitar lokasi wisata bernuansa alam seperti pantai atau pegunungan.Pengertian resort juga dapat dikaitkan dengan kepentingan yang berhubungan dengan kegiatan olahraga, kesehatan, konvensi, keagamaan serta keperluan usaha lainnya. Berdasarkan definisi diatas maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa resort adalah sebuah tempat peristirahatan yang terletak di area-area wisata seperti di tepi pantai, di pegunungan dimana memiliki fasilitas khusus untuk kegiatan bersantai dimana fasilitas ini diperuntukan untuk pengunjung yang datang untuk menikmati potensi alam yang ada dan berekreasi. Melihat dampak emosional yang ditimbulkan oleh keindahan alam dan kenyamanan termal selalu membawa persepsi positif bagi manusia. Kabupaten Kuningan, tepatnya di area wisata Gunung Ciremai menawarkan dua hal tersebut, mulai dari panorama gunung tertinggi di Jawa Barat, keasrian alam sekitar pegunungan, dan sepoi angin yang menyejukan. Di antara puncak gunung Ciremai yang memukau, terdapat hidden gem yang menanti untuk ditemukai. Terinspirasi oleh harmoni antara manusia dan alam, daerah ini dapat dikelola untuk menjadi area pariwisata dengan membangun resort, hotel, dan convention yang mempertahankan lanskap sekitar. Meresponnya dengan pengaplikasian Arsitektur Biomimikri yang tetap mempertahankan alam sekitar. Kata Kunci: Hotel Resort, Convention, Arsitektur Biomimikri
