Abstract
Jogja Planning Gallery Building is a State Building that is planned to be built in the philosophy axis area as a forum for Jogja's planning miniature gallery in the future. Jogja Planning Gallery is also a showroom for arts and crafts actors in Yogyakarta. With Jogja Planning Gallery, it can be used by the community as a tourist spot for education and cultural promotion. The theme applied is the Transformation of Jogja from a Historic City to a Sustainable City of Culture. Jogjakarta Planning Gallery is an interactive gallery from the Government of Jogjakarta that presents Jogja's city planning from the past, its achievements in the present, and plans for the future development of the city of Jogja. The Neo Vernacular theme was chosen in the architectural design of Jogjakarta Planning Gallery, with the aim of preserving local elements that have been empirically shaped by a tradition that then undergoes little or much renewal towards a more modern or advanced work without compromising local traditional values, which combine the culture and architecture of the past with the future. Keywords : Neo Vernacular Architecture, Gallery Gedung Jogja Planning Gallery merupakan Bangunan Gedung Negara yang rencana akan dibangun pada Kawasan sumbu filosofi sebagai wadah miniature gallery perencanaan Jogja di masa yang akan datang. Jogja Planning Gallery ini juga menjadi wadah ruang pamer bagi pelaku seni dan kerajinan yang ada di Yogyakarta. Dengan adanya Jogja Planning Gallery ini dapat dijadikan oleh masyarakat sebagai tempat wisata edukasi dan promosi budaya. Tema yang diterapkan adalah Transformasi Jogja dari Kota Bersejarah menjadi Kota Budaya yang Berkelanjutan. Jogjakarta Planning Gallery adalah galeri interaktif dari Pemerintah Kota Jogjakarta yang menyajikan perencanaan kota Jogja sejak masa lalu, pencapaiannya di masa kini, dan rencana-rencana pengembangan kota Jogja di masa depan. Tema Neo Vernakular dipilih dalam perancangan arsitektur Jogjakarta Planning Gallery, dengan tujuan melestarikan unsur-unsur lokal yang telah terbentuk secara empiris oleh sebuah tradisi yang kemudian sedikit atau banyaknya mangalami pembaruan menuju suatu karya yang lebih modern atau maju tanpa mengesampingkan nilai-nilai tradisi setempat, yang menggabungkan budaya dan arsitektur masa lalu dengan masa depan.
