Abstract

The documentary film "Your Waste, My Sustenance" tells the story of the life of a suction worker who carries out his job to support his family. As well as visualizing the daily life of a suction worker whose work is often underestimated by others because this job is a disgusting job regardless of that perception, this job is very helpful for the community, especially in the problem of clogged septic tanks. The writer as the director in the documentary "Your Waste, My Sustenance" is responsible for building a representation of the reality told about the figure in this documentary. A director also plays a role in compiling the story from the source along with the narration that will be used in this documentary.The documentary "Your Waste, My Sustenance" is a biographical film, and uses an exposition type with a narration voice as a single speaker. Every stage of production, the writer and team always try to do good communication in order to produce maximum films. This film is expected to provide views and learning media like the audience so that there is no longer a public view of a job carried out by someone. Keywords : Your Waste My Sustenance, Directing, Director Film dokumenter “Limbahmu Rezekiku” mengangkat tentang kehidupan seorang pekerja sedot tinja yang menjalankan pekerjaan nya demi menghidupi keluarga nya. Serta memvisualisasikan kehidupan sehari-hari dari seorang pekerja sedot tinja yang sering kali pekerjaan nya diremehkan orang lain karena pekerjaan ini merupakan pekerjaan yang menjijikan terlepas dari persepsi itu pekerjaan ini sangatlah membantu bagi masyakarat terutama pada permasalahan septic tank yang tersumbat.Penulis sebagai sutradara dalam film dokumenter “Limbahmu Rezekiku” bertanggung jawab atas membangun representasi realita yang dituturkan tentang sosok yang berada di dalam film dokumenter ini. Seorang sutradara juga berperan menyusun cerita dari narasumber beserta narasi yang akan digunakan pada film dokumenter ini. Film dokumenter “Limbahmu Rezekiku” adalah film dengan genre biografi, dan menggunakan tipe eksposisi dengan suara narasi sebagai penutur tunggal. setiap tahap produksi penulis dan tim selalu berusaha melakukan komunikasi yang baik agar mengahsilkan film yang maksimal. Film ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pandangan serta media pembelajaran bagai para penonton agar tidak ada lagi pandangan masyarakat terhadap sebuah pekerjaan yang dijalankan seseorang.
