Abstract

Religious tourism is a tour that is in great demand by the people of Indonesia, religious tourism itself is a tour related to the religious or religious side adopted by a Muslim, the purpose of religious tourism is to deepen the religion of a Muslim. Surabaya is a province in Indonesia that continues to grow in various sectors. One of the growing sectors is the tourism sector. This is because Surabaya has many historical places that have the potential to be developed as tourist destinations. Religious tourism in Surabaya is one of the tours that is in great demand by local and national residents. Ampel religious tourism is a tourist destination that is no longer a local religious tourism in Surabaya or in East Java alone, but has been recognized nationally. Thus this Religious Tourism Area is visited by many visitors. The basic concept of building in Islamic architecture is how to build buildings as determined by sharia law without restrictions on the place and function of the building. Keywords: Religion Tourism, Ampel, Islamic Architecture Wisata religi merupakan wisata yang sangat diminati oleh masyarakat Indonesia, wisata religi sendiri merupakan wisata yang berhubungan dengan sisi religius atau keagamaan yang dianut oleh seseorang muslim, tujuan wisata religi adalah untuk memperdalam keagamaan seorang muslim. Surabaya merupakan provinsi di Indonesia yang terus berkembang dalam berbagai sektor. Salah satu sektor yang sedang berkembang adalah sektor pariwisata. Hal ini disebabkan karena Surabaya yang memiliki banyak tempat bersejarah yang berpotensi untuk dikembangkan sebagai tujuan wisata. Wisata religi di Surabaya merupakan salah satu wisata yang banyak diminati oleh warga lokal maupun nasional. Wisata religi Ampel merupakan destinasi wisata yang bukan lagi menjadi wisata religi lokal di Surabaya ataupun di Jawa Timur saja, tetapi sudah dikenal secara nasional. Dengan demikian Kawasan Wisata Religi ini didatangi oleh banyak pengujung. Konsep dasar bangunan dalam arsitektur Islam adalah cara membangun bangunaan sebagaimana sudah ditentukan hukum syariah tanpa batasan terhadap tempat dan fungsi bangunan.
