Abstract

During the Covid-19 Pandemic, people were required to adapt to regulated health protocols, as well as workers who were still required by work and remained side by side with the Covid-19 virus. In this new normal situation, work engagement is a challenge for all companies. The purpose of this study is to determine whether job cafting has a relationship with work engagement and to determine whether burnout acts as a moderator between job crafting and employee work engagement during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The subjects of this research are employees who work in Jabodetabek. The instruments used in this study are the Utrech Work engagement Scale (UWES), the Job crafting Questionnaire (JSQ), and the Burnout Scale (BOS). The research design was carried out with moderation using accidental sampling technique. Moderated regression analysis in this study used the PROCESS V3.5 Procedure for SPSS by Andrew F. Hayes. The results showed that job crafting had a positive correlation with work engagement, and burnout had a moderate role in the relationship between job crafting and work engagement. This research is expected to be literary material for employees and companies regarding the importance of understanding the values of work engagement, job crafting, and burnout for the success of the company. Keywords: Work engagement, Job crafting, Burnout, Pandemic Covid-19, Employees Dimasa Pandemi Covid-19 ini masyarakat dituntut untuk beradaptasi dengan protokol kesehatan yang telah diatur, begitupun dengan para pekerja yang tetap dituntut oleh pekerjaan dan tetap berdampingan dengan virus Covid-19. Pada situasi new normal ini, work engagement merupakan tantangan bagi semua perusahaan. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah job cafting memiliki hubungan dengan work engagement dan untuk mengetahui apakah burnout berperan sebagai moderator antara job crafting dan work engagement pegawai di masa Pandemi Covid-19. Subjek penelitian ini ialah pegawai yang bekerja di Jabodetabek. Intrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu, Utrech Work engagement Scale (UWES), Job crafting Questionnaire (JSQ), dan Burnout Scale (BOS). Desain penelitian dilakukan dengan moderasi menggunakan teknik accidental sampling. Analisis regresi moderasi dalam penelitian ini menggunakan PROCESS V3.5 Procedure for SPSS oleh Andrew F. Hayes. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa job crafting berkorelasi positif dengan work engagement, dan burnout berperan memoderasi dalam hubungan job crafting dan work engagement. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi bahan literature bagi pegawai dan perusahaan terkait pentingnya memahami nilai-nilai pada work engagement, job crafting, dan burnout guna keberhasilan perusahaan.
