Abstract

Pasar Senen Station is one of the stations that is very popular among travelers who use railroad transportation services to various departments of Java Island. Not a few of the users of Pasar Senen Railway Station use private vehicles such as cars or motorbikes to get to Pasar Senen Station, of course this spurs the number of vehicles entering the station and the need for parking space needs. Based on the considerations, the researchers are interested in knowing the parking characteristics of vehicles collected parking, parking volume, parking duration, and parking index at Pasar Senen Station, with additional research to find out how the road in front of the parking exit of Pasar Senen Station located on St.Pasar Senen road Research on parking characteristics is done by surveying the situation, location and vehicles at the research location, namely the Pasar Senen Station parking lot. Then with data quantity provided by the agency from PT. Reska Multi Usaha, I as a researcher can calculate the accumulation, duration, vehicle index and others from the data in accordance with the time of the survey conducted in 3 days at 08.00 WIB until 20.00 WIB. To evaluate and improve the performance of the section St.Pasar Senen road requires primary data in the form of road geometric data, traffic volume, vehicle speed data on roads and side obstacle data. As well as requiring secondary data such as location maps, data collection and statistical data on population growth. The analytical method used refers to the 1997 road capacity manual (MKJI 1997). From the results of the study obtained parking characteristics on the Pasar Senen Station parking, that is maximum characteristics occur on Sunday 20 January 2019, the peak of accumulation occurs between 19.30 to 20.00 WIB as many as 74 vehicles for cars, the parking duration is highest that is in the range 1-60 minutes , so that it is included in short-term parking, namely the use of parking with a duration of under 2 hours, the maximum parking index occurs between 19.30 to 20.00 WIB by 74% for cars, from the data can be seen on average from four-wheeled vehicles and parking wheels less than 100% this can indicate that the parking space capacity at Pasar Senen Station can still accommodate requests. For roads, there is no problem on Jl.St Pasar Senen because the service level is at level C. The solution for the road is possible by returning the effective width of the sidewalk according to its geometric, by arranging illegal parking and traders in front of the market so as not to exit the sidewalk. Stasiun Pasar Senen adalah salah satu stasiun yang sangat populer di kalangan para pemudik yang hendak menggunakan jasa angkutan kereta api ke berbagai jurusan pulau jawa. Tidak sedikit para pengguna kereta api Stasiun Pasar Senen yang menggunakan kendaraan pribadi seperti mobil atau motor untuk menuju Stasiun Pasar Senen, tentu saja hal ini memacu meningkatnya jumlah kendaraan yang masuk stasiun dan menimbulkan kebutuhan terhadap kebutuhan ruang parkir. Berdasarkan permasalahan, maka peneliti tertarik untuk mengetahui karakteristik parkir kendaraan meliputi akumulasi parkir,volume parkir,durasi parkir,dan indeks parkir di Stasiun Pasar Senen, dengan tambahan penelitian untuk mengetahui kinerja ruas jalan di depan pintu keluar parkir Stasiun Pasar Senen yang berada di Jalan St.Pasar Senen Penelitian karakteristik parkir dilakukan dengan cara melakukan survey keadaan,lokasi dan kendaraan di lokasi penelitian yaitu lahan parkir Stasiun Pasar Senen, Kemudian dengan data quantity yang diberikan pihak instansi dari PT.Reska Multi Usaha, saya sebagai peneliti bisa menghitung akumulasi,durasi,indeks kendaraan dan lainnya dari data tersebut sesuai dengan waktu survey yang dilakukan dalam 3 hari pada jam 08.00 WIB samapi 20.00 WIB. Untuk mengevaluasi dan meningkatkan kinerja ruas Jl. St.Pasar Senen diperlukan data primer berupa data geometrik jalan, volume lalulintas,data kecepatan kendaraan pada ruas jalan dan data hambatan samping. Serta memerlukan data sekunder seperti peta lokasi pengambilan data dan data statistik jumlah pertumbuhan penduduk. Metode analisis yang digunakan mengacu kepada manual kapasitas jalan 1997 (MKJI 1997). Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan karakteristik parkir pada parkir Stasiun Pasar Senen, yaitu karakteristik maksimal terjadi pada hari Minggu tanggal 20 Januari 2019, Puncak akumulasi terjadi antara pukul 19.30 sampai 20.00 WIB sebanyak 74 kendaraan untuk mobil, durasi parkir diperoleh tertinggi yaitu dalam range 1-60 menit, sehingga termasuk dalam parkir jangka pendek yaitu penggunaan parkir dengan durasi dibawah 2 jam, indeks parkir maksimum terjadi antara pukul 19.30 sampai 20.00 WIB sebesar 74% untuk mobil,dari data tersebut dapat dilihat rata-rata dari kendaraan roda empat dan roda dua mempunyai indeks parkir kurang dari 100% hal ini dapat menunjukkan bahwa kapasitas ruang parkir pada Stasiun Pasar Senen masih bisa menampung permintaan. Untuk ruas jalan, tidal ada masalah di Jl.St Pasar Senen karena tingkat pelayanan berada pada tingkat C. Solusi untuk ruas jalan mungkin dengan mengembalikan lebar efektif trotoar sesuai geometriknya, dengan mengatur parkir liar dan pedagang yang berada di depan pasar agar tidak keluar batas trotoar.
