Abstract

Air transport is one of the cheaper transportation alternatives, quick highly expected by the community and local government. But the obstacles are still there and faced to facilitate the flow of passenger transport, goods to and from Bima still be a barrier progress of the region. The only airport that is located in the Milky was Sultan Muhammad Salahuddin Airport. When seen from the data on the number of passengers Sultan Muhammad Salahuddin Airport, there is increase in the number of passengers. Thus, the airport development direcanakanlah by replacing a larger capacity aircraft, the Boeing 737-500 with a capacity of 100 people. Substitution type of aircraft that operate greatly affect the carrying capacity of the existing pavement aerodrome. For that through this project, In this final task, to evaluate the existing pavement Sultan Muhammad Salahuddin airport used two methods: the classical method (CBR-FAA) and the method of FAA AC 150 / 5335-5C with COMFAA program. Based on KP 93 In 2015, the calculation of Pavement Classification Number (PCN) uses two (2) methods of classical methods and methods COMFAA with subgrade CBR of 3%. From the analysis results obtained with the classic method of PCN 30 F / D / Y / T and PCN 45 F / D / Y / T. While the analysis results obtained COMFAA method PCN 30 F / D / Y / T and 40 F / D / Y / T. Results PCN with classical methods is greater than the result of PCN meode FAA 150 / 5335-5C. According to KP 262 in 2017 ACN Boeing 737-500 has 42, for the results of PCN with classical methods of the existing pavement require an overlay for PCN <ACN. Pavement thickness calculation using a program called FAARFIELD v 1:42. From the results of the program FAARFIELD thick overlay (overlay) each 5 cm in = 12.25 ≈ 15 cm. Keywords: pavement carrying capacity of the airport, FAA method, COMFAA, FAARFIELD, ACN, PCN, airport Transportasi udara merupakan salah satu alternatif transportasi yang murah, cepat sangat diharapkan oleh masyarakat dan pemerintah setempat. Namun kendala yang masih ada dan dihadapi untuk memperlancar arus transportasi penumpang, barang dari dan ke Bima masih menjadi penghalang kemajuan daerah. Satu-satunya Bandar Udara yang berada di Bima adalah Bandar Udara Sultan Muhammad Salahuddin. Bila dilihat dari data jumlah penumpang Bandar Udara Sultan Muhammad Salahuddin, terdapat penambahan jumlah penumpang. Maka, direcanakanlah pengembangan Bandar Udara dengan mengganti pesawat yang berkapasitas lebih besar, yaitu Boeing 737-500 yang berkapasitas 100 orang. Pergantian jenis pesawat yang beroperasi sangat mempengaruhi daya dukung perkerasan eksisting bandar udara. Untuk itu melalui tugas akhir ini, penulis akan melakukan analisis daya dukung atau kekuatan perkerasan eksisting terhadap pesawat rencana yang akan beroprasi. Dalam Tugas akhir ini, untuk mengevaluasi perkerasan eksisting perkerasan Bandar Udara Sultan Muhammad Salahuddin digunakan 2 metode yaitu metode klasik (CBRFAA) dan metode FAA AC 150/5335-5C dengan program COMFAA. Berdasarkan KP 93 Tahun 2015, perhitungan Pavement Classification Number (PCN) menggunakan 2 (dua) metode yaitu metode klasik dan metode COMFAA dengan CBR subgrade 3%. Dari hasil analisis dengan metode klasik didapatkan PCN 30 F/D/Y/T dan PCN 45 F/D/Y/T. Sedangkan hasil analisis dengan metode COMFAA didapat PCN 30 F/D/Y/T dan 40 F/D/Y/T. Hasil PCN dengan metode klasik lebih besar dari hasil PCN meode FAA 150/5335-5C. Menurut lampiran KP 262 Tahun 2017 ACN pesawat boeing 737-500 mempunyai ACN 42, untuk hasil PCN dengan metode klasik perkerasan eksisting membutuhkan overlay karena PCN < ACN. Perhitungan tebal perkerasan menggunakan program bernama FAARFIELD v 1.42. Dari hasil program FAARFIELD tebal pelapisan ulang (overlay) masing-masing 5 in = 12,25 cm ≈ 15 cm.
