Abstract
The Arts and Culture Center Building is a facility for developing artistic activities and as a means of educating knowledge about the arts, but in Tangerang City there is still a lack of facilities or containers to support community interests and community talents, this also affects the nature, mentality and psychology of individuals in wanting to study or visit the arts center building. The purpose of designing the Center for Arts and Culture is to facilitate arts activities properly and to show a special design that characterizes culture, namely the cultural approach of the City of Tangerang. The design of the Arts Building is expected to be useful for preserving the arts and increasing public interest in the arts. As well as a means of education, recreation and as a place for delivering works of art to improve the community's economy in terms of art. Keywords: Art And Cultural Center, Neo Vernakular Architecture,Green Building Gedung Pusat Seni dan Kebudayaan merupakan sarana untuk mengembangkan kegiatan kesenian dan sebagai sarana edukasi pengetahuan tentang kesenian, akan tetapi pada Kota Tangerang masih kurangnya sarana atau wadah dalam menunjang minat masyarakat dan bakat masyarakat,ini juga mempengaruhi sifat,mental dan psikologi para individu dalam berkeinginan untuk belajar maupun mendatangi gedung pusat kesenian. Adapun tujuan perancangan Gedung Pusat Seni dan Budaya ini untuk memfasilitasi kegiatan kesenian secara baik dan memperlihatkan desain khusus yang mencirikan kebudayaan yaitu dengan pendekatan kebudayaan Kota Tangerang. Perancangan Gedung Kesenian ini diharapkan bermanfaat untuk melestarikan kesenian dan meningkatkan minat masyarakat terhadap kesenian. Serta sebagai sarana edukasi, rekreasi dan sebagai tempat penyampaian karya seni untuk meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat dari segi kesenian. Kata Kunci : Gedung Pusat Seni Dan Budaya, Arsitektur Neo Vernakular, Green Building.
