Abstract

The economic and tourism development of Kuningan Regency, West Java, is very rapid. Located at the foot of Mount Ciremai is an area that is perfect for vacationing and weekends with increasing tourist arrivals visiting the area at the foot of Mount Ciremai. This of course requires the support of a lot of preparatory development, it needs massive improvements starting from city infrastructure and facilities, tourist destinations, tourist amenities as well as preparedness for community empowerment as users and actors themselves. One that includes plans to build an inn that functions as a stopover and vacation spot for urban or local communities. These hotels and resorts function as a means of developing natural tourism and eco forests that already exist around this hotel and resort project In Kuningan, West Java, there are very few hotels that blend with nature like this hotel, this hotel minimizes renovation or changes to the original landscape of the existing urban forest, so that these buildings remain integrated with the natural surroundings that have been provided. This ecoforest is a concrete manifestation of the fact that this hotel building places great importance on mini-style originality. The Neo Vernacular design concept of the Sundanese traditional house is a concept that fits with the culture of today's society, namely the combination of modern nuances while maintaining the details that exist in the surrounding tribal community. Keywords: Economic development, Neo Vernacular, Hotel Perkembangan ekonomi dan wisata Kabupaten Kuningan Jawa Barat ini sangatlah pesat. Bertempat di kaki Gunung Ciremai merupakan area yang sangat pas untuk berlibur dan berakhir pecan dengan meningkatnya kunjungan wisatawan yang berkunjung diarea kaki Gunung Ciremai ini. Hal tersebut tentunya memerlukan dukungan persiapan pembangunan yang ridak sedikit, perlu pembenahan massif dari mulai prasarana dan sarana kota, destinasi wisata, amenities wisata serta kesiapan keberdayaan masyarakat sebagai pengguna dan pelaku itu sendiri. Salah satu yang termasuk rencana pembangunan penginapan yang berfungsi sebagai tempat singgah dan berlibur masyarakat perkotaan ataupun local. Hotel dan resort ini berfungsi sebagai sarana pemgembangan wisata alam dan eco forest yang sudah ada disekitar project hotel dan resort ini Di Kuningan Jawa Barat sangat sedikit hotel yang menyatu dengan alam seperti halnya hotel ini, hotel ini sangat meminimalisir perombakan atau merubah landscape asli dari existing hutan kota ini, agar bangunan ini tetap menyatu dengan alam sekitar yang sudah disediakan. Ecoforest ini merupakan wujud nyata bawasannya bangunan hotel ini sangat mementingkan keorginalitas ala mini. Konsep desain neo vernacular rumah adat sunda adalah konsep yang cocok dengan kebudayaan masyarakat jaman sekarang, yaitu penggabungan nuansa modern dengan mempertahankan detail-detail yang ada di masyarakat suku sekitar.
