Abstract
Global issues and urban problems such as the increasing flow of urbanization, slum areas in Central Java increased significantly, and housing needs are increasing but the price of land is getting more expensive makes a vertical residential design design (with health center and civic center facilities) needed. The existing condition is slum area, there is no innovative and artistic design, there is no open and/or closed space in the persil area, there is no circulation pattern for vehicles and pedestrians, and there is no health center building, civic center and traditional art exhibition facilities. The design of flats in Kampung Semanggi through the Architecture to Recover approach facilitates about 145 units consisting of type 36, Type 45 and disability housing types. Keyword : Vertical Housing, Slums, Kampung Semanggi. Isu global dan permasalahan perkotaan seperti meningkatnya arus urbanisasi, kawasan kumuh di Jawa Tengah meningkat signifikan, dan kebutuhan hunian semakin meningkat namun harga lahan semakin mahal menjadikan sebuah rancangan desain hunian vertikal (dengan fasilitas health center dan civic center) dibutuhkan. Kondisi eksisting berupa kawasan permukiman kumuh, belum adanya rancangan desain yang inovatif dan artistik, belum adanya ruang terbuka dan/atau tertutup di dalam persil kawasan, belum tertatanya pola sirkulasi bagi kendaraan dan pejalan kaki, serta belum adanya bangunan health center, civic center dan sarana ekhsibisi seni tradisional. Rancangan Rumah Susun di Kampung Semanggi melalui pendekatan Architecture to Recover memfasilitasi sekitar 145 unit yang terdiri dari tipe 36, tipe 45 dan tipe hunian disabilitas. Kata Kunci : Rumah Susun, Permukiman Kumuh, Kampung Semanggi.
