Abstract
Kuningan Regency has several popular tourist destinations and is a destination for domestic and foreign tourist. Its location which is between Central Java and Bandung, and close to Jakarta makes Kuningan a tourist destination area for tourist from the area surroundings. Kuningan Regency is a beautiful area has a variety of cultures and charming natural potential, typycals of beautiful mountains. This potential became the background for holding a competition to design a resort hotel area in Kuningan. Resort hotels provide facilities for holidays, recreation,sports and so on. The concept of Biophilic Architecture in this design can create resort area environment that is beautriful, eco friendly and become a sanctuary for hotel visitors to be closer with nature. Keywords: Region, Resort hotel, Biophilic Architecture. Kabupaten Kuningan memiliki beberapa destinasi wisata yang popular dan menjadi tujuan wisatawan domestic maupun manca negara. Lokasinya yang berada diantara Jawa tengah dan Bandung dan dekat dengan Jakarta menjadikan kuningan sebagai daerah destinasi wisata bagi wisatawan dari wilayah sekitar Kuningan dan sekitarnya. Kabupaten kuningan merupakah daerah asri yang memili ragam budaya dan potensi alam yang menawan khas pegunungan nan asri. Potensi ini menjadi latar belakang diadakannya sayembara untuk merancang Kawasan hotel resort di Kuningan, Jawa barat ini. Hotel resort menyediakan fasilitas untuk , berlibur, berekreasi, berolahraga dan sebagainya. Konsep Biopilic Architecture pada perancangan ini dapat menciptakan lingkingan kawasan resort yang asri, eco friendly dan dapat menjadi sanctuary bagi pengunjung hotel ini agar lebih dekat dengan alam nan asri. Kata Kunci : Kawasan, hotel Resort, Biophilic Architecture.
