Abstract

Youtube is one of the largest video service providers today and YouTube is also a medium for uploading for free. Youtube is used as a forum for expression for YouTubers, one of them Saaih Halilintar. The contents of the content presented by Saaih Halilintar in the form of video vlogs with the theme of daily life generally appear to indicate a fairly luxurious everyday lifestyle by always doing activities that require quite high costs. The communication impact of this research is related to the Theory of Uses and Effect. Where this theory explains how media is used and the effects of using media as a source of information. The audience received the impact after watching Saaih Halilintar's vlog on YouTube social media. The impact received in the form of Attention, Interest, and Desier. The extent to which the audience gives attention, interest and action. This study uses a quantitative approach to the type of explanatory research. The method used is a survey method with a questionnaire as an instrument to get from respondents. Theories used in this research are Uses and Effect theory and AIDDA Theory. This study shows the results that the probability level of 0,000 is much smaller than the significant level of 0.05 (significant level α = 5%) which means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted which means there is a significant influence between the effect of clickbait vlog content impressions. lightning with the title 28 million for breakfast on the lifestyle of student hedonism with a correlation number of 0.428 which shows the relationship to researchers is quite strong.
