Abstract

The capabilities of the technology are increasingly sophisticated and communication channels are increasing so that everyone can access more information, using social media like Instagram, people can know the information needed. The Youth Islamic Study Club (YISC) Al-Azhar has an Instagram account that serves as a media information about the activities in it as well as a new member acceptance program. The research aims to illustrate how the Al-Azhar public relations strategy in managing Instagram @yisc_alazhar can increase the number of prospective members. This research is based on four phases of strategy formulation, namely identification problems, planning and programs, communication and evaluation. This research uses a case study method with a qualitative approach by conducting interviews with interviewees. The speaker on this research is the head of the field of public relations YISC Al-Azhar and the members of the YISC Al-Azhar. The study concluded that public relations YISC Al-Azhar portrayed the publishing of informative and education content. Instagram YISC Al-Azhar gives an attractive look, easy to understand language style, keeps the intensity of the post and delivers education. So that the prospective new members are interested to know about the YISC Al-Azhar so it is interested to join the YISC Al-Azhar. Keywords: PR strategy, publicist, Instagram Kemampuan teknologi yang semakin canggih dan saluran komunikasi bertambah sehingga semua orang dapat mengakses informasi lebih banyak, dengan menggunakan media sosial seperti instagram, masyarakat dapat mengetahui informasi yang dibutuhkan. Youth Islamic Study Club (YISC) Al-Azhar memiliki akun instagram yang berfungsi sebagai media informasi tentang kegiatan yang ada di dalamnya dan juga program penerimaan anggota baru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan bagaimana strategi Humas YISC Al-Azhar dalam mengelola instagram @yisc_alazhar bisa meningkatkan jumlah calon anggota. penelitian ini didasarkan pada empat tahapan perumusan strategi, yaitu pengidentifikasian masalah, perencanaan dan program, pengkomunikasian dan evaluasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif dengan melakukan wawancara kepada narasumber. Narasumber pada penelitian ini adalah ketua bidang humas YISC Al-Azhar dan para anggota YISC Al-Azhar. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Humas YISC Al-Azhar berperan mempublikasikan konten informative dan edukasi. Instagram YISC Al-Azhar memberikan tampilan yang menarik, gaya bahasa yang mudah dimengerti, menjaga intensitas postingan dan memberikan edukasi. Sehingga membuat para calon anggota baru tertarik untuk mengetahui tentang YISC Al-Azhar sehingga tertarik untuk bergabung bersama YISC Al-Azhar. Kata kunci: Strategi Humas, Humas, Instagram
