Abstract

The influence of media content on children can be seen from their attitudes and behavior. Communication skills such as writing and oral storytelling are still not good and need to be improved. Children often have difficulty expressing their ideas both in writing and orally. Citizen Journalism workshops can have a positive impact on children's development. The focus taken by the implementers in this activity is to share knowledge and materials about citizen journalism by explaining some of the scriptwriting techniques carried out for the participants through workshops at Ar-Rasyid Islamic Elementary School with 9 participants. The role of the implementer is focused on the profession and the techniques used to make a video tutorial of an activity. This activity takes place on December 20 to December 30, 2020. The results achieved in this activity are that students are able to write script texts and make cooking video tutorials well. Keywords: Elementary School, Workshop, Citizen Journalism Pengaruh konten media pada anak-anak dapat terlihat dari sikap dan perilaku. Keterampilan komunikasi seperti menulis dan bercerita lisan mereka masih kurang baik dan perlu ditingkatkan. Anak-anak sering mengalami hambatan untuk mengungkapkan ide mereka baik dalam bentuk tulisan maupun lisan. Workshop Citizen Jornalism dapat berdampak positif pada perkembangan anak. Fokus yang diambil oleh tim pelaksana dalam kegiatan ini adalah membagikan ilmu dan materi tentang citizen journalism dengan menjelaskan beberapa teknik penulisan naskah yang dilakukan bagi para peserta melalui kegiatan workshop di SD Islam Ar-Rasyid dengan jumlah peserta 9 orang. Peran pelaksana yaitu memfokuskan pada profesi serta teknik yang dilakukan untuk membuat sebuah video tutorial suatu kegiatan. Kegiatan ini berlangsung pada tanggal 20 Desember sampai dengan 30 Desember 2020. Hasil yang telah dicapai dalam kegiatan ini yaitu siswa-siswi mampu menulis teks naskah dan membuat video tutorial memasak dengan baik. Kata Kunci: Sekolah Dasar, Workshop, Citizen Journalism
