Abstract

Public Relations (PR) has an important role in establishing and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships between the company and its organizations and the public. In establishing this relationship, of course, PR practitioners are also required to provide services that build a positive image of the company. One of the PR activities that is usually used to reach the public is the event. The importance of events makes PR practitioners need such an event management process in order to be able to reach and attract the public's attention. Where the author in charge of Event Management conducts planning related to the implementation of programs, as well as being a coordinator in event management itself is one of the public relations activities that is considered effective to get high attention from the audience and able to accommodate the public interest to participate in an opportunity with the aim of increasing audience knowledge. Therefore, the Ministering Team conducted a program with the theme of social media literacy campaign against the attitude of SMAI AZ-ZAMIR Tangerang Students Keywords: Social media, Education, Public Relations Public Relations (PR) memiliki peranan penting dalam menjalin dan menjaga hubungan yang saling menguntungkan antara perusahaan maupun organisasi dan publiknya. Dalam menjalin hubungan ini, tentunya praktisi PR pun dituntut untuk memberikan pelayanan yang membangun citra positif perusahaan. Salah satu kegiatan PR yang biasanya digunakan untuk menjangkau publiknya ini adalah diadakannya event. Pentingnya event membuat praktisi PR memerlukan proses manajemen event yang sedemikian rupa agar mampu menggaet dan menarik perhatian publiknya. Dimana penulis bertanggung jawab dalam Manajemen Event melakukan perencanaan terkait pelaksanaan program,serta menjadi koordinator di Manajemen event sendiri merupakan salah satu aktivitas kehumasan yang dinilai efektif untuk mendapatkan perhatian yang tinggi dari khalayak serta mampu mengakomodir ketertarikan publik untuk berpartisipasi dalam suatu kesempatan dengan tujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan khalayak. Oleh karena itu Tim Pengabdi melaksanakan sebuah Program dengan tema Kampanye Literasi Media sosial Terhadap Sikap Siswa SMAI AZ-ZAMIR Tangerang Kata kunci:Mediasosial, Edukasi, Public Relations
