Abstract
Documentary film is a movie that presents facts as a story. Film is Mass communication, the film sends messages or cues that can be called as symbols, symbol communication can be in the form of images that are in the film. This application research researchers want to know how the concept of directing in the documentary film "The Golden Hand". The analyses used in this study were SWOT analysis (strengths, opportunities, threats, weaknesses) in documentary filmmaking. The result of this study is to give a spirit to people with disabilities or physical disabilities so as not to get discouraged to reach his dream, as many people who have physical disabilities feel unjust, do not believe Self. Disability or physical deprivation is not a barrier to a person reaching a dream, and that lack of it can be a force for ourselves. Keywords: documentary Film, directorial engineering Film dokumenter adalah sebuah film yang menyajikan fakta sebagai cerita. Film merupakan komunikasi massa, film mengirimkan pesan atau isyarat yang bisa disebut sebagai simbol, komunikasi simbol dapat berupa gambar yang ada di dalam film. Penelitian aplikatif ini peneliti ingin mengetahui bagaimana konsep penyutradaraan dalam film dokumenter “Tangan Emas”. Analisis yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis SWOT (Kekuatan, Peluang, Ancaman, Kelemahan) dalam pembuatan film dokumenter. Hasil penelitian ini adalah ingin memberikan semangat kepada orang yang difabel atau mempunyai keterbatasan fisik agar tidak berputus asa untuk menggapai mimpinya, sebagaimana banyak orang yang mempunyai keterbatasan fisik merasa terkucilkan, tidak percaya diri. Difabel atau kekurangan fisik tidak menjadi hambatan untuk seseorang menggapai mimpi, dan kekurangan itu bisa menjadi kekuatan untuk diri kita. Kata Kunci : Film Dokumenter, Teknik Penyutradaraan
