Abstract
PT Cakrawala Putra Nusantara (CPN) is the best GIS (Geographic Information System) developer company. PT CPN has a company website that is www.cpn.co.id which serves as a media for corporate communication with the public, but the maintenance of this website is less noticed by the company. This is indicated by PT CPN not updating the information on the website since December 2017. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of PT CPN's website media, www.cpn.co.id. In this study, researchers used Variable Computer Mediated Communication (CMC). This variable has six dimensions namely accessibility (information access), speed (speed of information), amount (quantity / quantity of information), cognitive effectiveness (effectiveness of acquiring knowledge), relevance (conformity of information), motivating (from information). This study uses a quantitative approach and is a type of descriptive research and uses survey methods. The researcher used a questionnaire in the form of google form which the author shared via email of respondents, using the interval scale as an instrument for data collection. The researcher used a census technique so that the total population was equal to a sample of 52 people, the website visitors www.cpn.co.id who left a message. The results showed that based on the method of drawing conclusions on the effectiveness of the LSR used, it was found that the existence of the media website www.cpn.co.id was considered effective as a source of customer information at PT Cakrawala Putra Nusantara Jakarta. The dimension which has the highest value is the first dimension, which is the Accessibility Dimension and the lowest dimension is the Speed Dimension. Keywords : Website effectiveness, Information. PT Cakrawala Putra Nusantara (CPN) merupakan perusahaan developer GIS (Geographic Information System) terbaik. PT CPN memiliki situs website perusahaan yaitu www.cpn.co.id yang berfungsi sebagai media komunikasi perusahaan dengan publik, namun pemeliharaan website ini kurang diperhatikan perusahaan. Hal ini ditandai dengan PT CPN belum melakukan pembaharuan informasi pada website sejak Desember 2017. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas media website PT CPN yaitu www.cpn.co.id. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan Konsep Computer Mediated Communication (CMC). Variabel ini memiliki enam dimensi yaitu accessibility (daya jangkau/ akses informasi), speed (kecepatan informasi), amount (jumlah/ kuantitas informasi), cognitive effectiveness (keefektifan memperoleh pengetahuan), relevance (kesesuaian informasi), motivating (dari informasi). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dan menggunakan metode survei. Peneliti menggunakan kuesioner dengan format google form yang penulis bagikan melalui email responden, dengan menggunakan skala interval sebagai instrumen pengumpulan data. Peneliti menggunakan teknik sensus sehingga jumlah populasi sama dengan sampel sebanyak 52 orang yaitu pengunjung website www.cpn.co.id yang meninggalkan pesan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa berdasarkan metode penarikan kesimpulan efektivitas LSR yang digunakan, maka diketahui website www.cpn.co.id menghasilkan nilai 8.310 dan terletak antara Q2 dan Q3, sehingga dinilai efektif sebagai sumber informasi customer PT Cakrawala Putra Nusantara Jakarta. Dimensi yang memiliki nilai tertinggi yaitu dimensi pertama yaitu Dimensi Accessibility dan dimensi terendah yaitu Dimensi Speed. Kata Kunci : Efektivitas website, Informasi.
