Abstract

Public Figure or Selebgram is an important figure and is known by many people. Some time ago Helena Lim, who is known as Crazy Rich PIK, caused a stir on Instagram users after uploading her Instagram story which showed she was vaccinated against Covid-19 because the pharmacy owner was not included in the category of health workers, this gave rise to pro and con opinions. With the function of mass media and new media, relations between people will mutually influence how we can interact with each other. In addition, you can provide comments regarding trending news information such as the Selebgram Helena Lim, where there are pros and cons regarding getting a Covid-19 vaccination. In the formation of public opinion, social media began to shift the role of conventional mass media. In addition, social media can influence Instagram users in forming public opinion, both pro and contra opinions. In this study using qualitative content analysis. The researcher assigns social media, namely Instagram with respective pros and cons opinions from the two accounts that have been determined (@detikcom and @kumparancom) as the Unit of Analysis in this study. The results of this study state that the pros and cons opinions of the @detikcom and @kumparancom accounts are included in the category of individual opinions and have 4 categorizations, namely: opinions that support public morals, opinions with facts, negative opinions develop more quickly, and opinions that are sensitive to important events. In addition, the pro-con opinions of the two accounts have interactions or the formation of new opinions that have a different response from the audience who gives the opinion leader in the form of replies that make the pro-con opinion grow. Keywords: Social media, public opinion, pros-cons opinion, content analisys, qualitative. Public Figure atau Selebgram merupakan sosok yang penting dan dikenal oleh banyak masyarakat. Beberapa waktu lalu Helena Lim yang dikenal sebagai Crazy Rich PIK membuat heboh pengguna Instagram setelah unggahan Instagram story nya yang menunjukkan dirinya divaksinasi Covid-19 karena memang pada saat itu pemiliki Apotek tidak termasuk dalam kategori tenaga kesehatan, hal tersebut menimbulkan opini pro-kontra dari pengguna Instagram. Dengan adanya fungsi media massa dan media baru ini hubungan antar masyarakat akan saling memperngaruhi bagaimana masyarakat dapat berinteraksi satu sama lain. Selain itu, dapat memberikan komentar terkait informasi berita yang sedang tren seperti Selebgram Helena Lim yang mana menimbulkan opini pro-kontra terkait Helena lim yang menerima vaksinasi Covid-19. Dalam pembentukan opini publik, media sosial mulai menggeserperan media massa konvensional. Selain itu, media sosial dapat mempengaruhi para pengguna Instagram dalam membentuk opini publik, baik itu opini pro dan opini kontra Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis isi kualitatif. Peneliti menetakan media sosial, yaitu Instagram dengan masing-masing opini pro dan kontra dari kedua akun yang telah ditentukan (@detikcom dan @kumparancom) sebagai Unit Analisis pada penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa, opini pro-kontra dari akun @detikcom dan @kumparancom termasuk dalam kategori opini individu dan memiliki 4 kategorisasi yaitu: opini pendukung moral masyarakat, opini dengan fakta, opini negatif lebih berkembang cepat, dan opini sensitif terhadap peristiwa penting. Selain itu, opini pro-kontra dari kedua akun tersebut terdapat interaksi atau pembentukan opini baru yang memiliki respon yang berbeda dari khalayak yang memberi opini leader dalam berbentuk replies yang membuat opini prokontra tersebut semakin berkembang.
