Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of Social Media Education of the Indonesian Covid-19 Handling Task Force on Public Alert Behavior Against the Covid-19 Pandemic. The population in this study were students of the Faculty of Communication Science, Broadcasting Study Program, Mercubuana University, Jakarta, who had accessed the Social Media Platform of the Indonesian Covid-19 Handling Task Force. The sample used was 20% of the number of followers of the Covid-19 Task Force's social media account, namely 76 research respondents. The results showed that the Social Media Education of the Covid-19 Handling Task Force had a positive and significant impact on Public Alert Behavior Against the Covid-19 Pandemic. In addition, Social Media Education has an influence of 94.3% on Public Alert Behavior Against the Covid-19 Pandemic. It is recommended that the Covid-19 Handling Task Force involve influencers who have large followers on social media in creating content on the Covid-19 Task Force's Instagram. This will create great attention for people who are followers of the influencer in receiving information and education regarding the spread of Covid-19.
