Abstract

ABSTRAK Film adalah proses penyampaian karya video yang dituangkan dalam bentuk visual atau tayangan dengan tujuan untuk menghibur baik berupa film panjang atau pendek yang dikemas dengan sebuah cerita baik fiksi ataupun non fiksi, disini menjelaskan bagaimana pekerjaan seorang DoP atau director of photography. Director of Photography merupakan proses dalam pembuatan film yang menggabungkan elemen audio visual yang bertujuan untuk menyampaikan suatu pesan atau informasi melalui media visual Dalam pengerjaan film ini menggabungan tiga rangkaian, mulai dari pra produksi, produksi, pasca produksi, biasa nya seorang Director of Photography akan membuat Storyboard, shotlist gambaran bagaimana konsep film tersebut akan dibuat dengan persiapan sebelum shooting dilakukan, setelah itu akan melakukan proses produksi dengan segala macam peralatan shooting yang proper guna mendapatkan hasil gambar yang baik dan berkualitas tinggi. Bertanggung jawab atas penggunaan kamera, lensa, hal teknis dan segala macam peralatan shooting pendukung seperti lighting dan set property yang ada, setelah produksi dilakukan DoP memastikan hasil nya sesuai dengan gambar storyboard untuk dilanjutkan kedalam proses tahap editing atau pasca produksi, menyampaikan kepada editor gambar final mana saja yang telah di sepakati.
