Abstract

Cats are animals that are most often kept because of their cute and adorable behavior. The care is quite easy to be a suitable choice to be a playmate. As a cat owner, you want the best to keep your cat healthy and happy. Sometimes it costs a lot of money to keep our pets healthy. In addition , it takes a high commitment and responsibility for the health of cats, both domestic cats and purebred cats. Therefore , cat owners must have insight into cat care, starting from what the cat consumes, how to care for it, the cat’s body language and so on. The design of the illustration book wasmade as a means of information and education for the public, especially cat owners. And it is hoped that with this illustration book it can provide convenience and add for cat owners to take care of them properly and correctly especially for cat owners who are begginers. Keyword : Illustration, Illustration Book, Cat Kucing merupakan hewan yang paling sering dipelihara karena tingkahnya yang lucu dan menggemaskan. Perawatannya yang cukup mudah menjadi salah pilihan yang cocok untuk menjadi teman bermain. Sebagai pemilik kucing, pasti menginginkan yang terbaik agar kucing tetap sehat dan bahagia. Terkadang tidak sedikit biaya yang perlu dikeluarkan agar hewan kesayangan kita tetap sehat. Selain itu dibutuhkan komitmen dan tanggung jawab yang tinggi terhadap kesehatan kucing, baik itu kucing domestik maupun kucing ras. Oleh karena itu pemilik kucing harus memiliki wawasan tentang perawatan kucing, mulai dari apa yang dikonsumsi si kucing, cara merawat, bahasa tubuh si kucing dan lain sebagainya. Perancangan buku illustrasi dibuat sebagai sarana informasi dan edukasi terhadap masyarakat terutama pemilik kucing. Dan diharapkan dengan adanya buku illustrasi tersebut dapat memberi kemudahan dan menambah wawasan bagi pemilik kucing untuk melakukan perawatan dengan baik dan benar terlebih lagi untuk pemilik kucing yang masih pemula.
