Abstract

The importance of using the words thank you, sorry, excuse me, and please for children is the most basic form of communication ethics and has an important role in shaping the character of a child. Therefore, the author designed an illustrated book entitled "The Importance of Manners". This book is one of the guidebooks to teach your little one how to interact and be polite by using illustrations as a strategy to convey messages. The application of illustrations in picture story books can stimulate children's early intelligence, so it is useful to foster interest in reading and help children in expressing themselves. Therefore, the author designed an illustration book. Keywords: Illustration, Manner, Child Illustrated Book. Pentingnya penggunaan kata terima kasih, maaf, permisi, dan tolong bagi anak merupakan bentuk etika berkomunikasi paling mendasar dan penting peranannya dalam pembentukan karakter seorang anak. Oleh karena itu penulis merancang sebuah Buku ilustrasi yang berjudul “Pentingnya Tata Krama”. Buku ini adalah salah satu buku panduan untuk mengajarkan si kecil bagaimana tata cara berinteraksi dan bersikap sopan dengan menggunakan ilustrasi sebagai strategi penyampain pesan. Penerapan ilustrasi dalam buku cerita bergambar dapat menstimulasi awal kecerdasan anak, sehingga bermanfaat untuk menumbuhkan minat baca dan membantu anak dalam mengekspresikan diri. Oleh karena itu penulis merancang sebuah buku ilustrasi. Kata kunci : Ilustrasi, Sopan Santun, Buku Bergambar Anak.
