Abstract

Generation Y or millennials and Generation Z are generations that have grown rapidly in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 where the economy and business are rolling so fast, always changing and dynamic, this makes them an asset for companies and business people in particular. So that in facing the challenges of this changing industry, these two generations need learning agility. This study aims to analyze the level of learning agility in millennial generation employees in Jakarta. The sample used in this study was 443 male and female respondents with the criteria being employees of the millennial generation and generation Z, namely the age range of 18 - 37 years. Sampling using accidental sampling technique. The research method used is descriptive analysis quantitative research method. The measuring instrument is arranged based on seven dimensions of learning agility. Descriptive data analysis technique used a comparison of the hypothetical mean and empirical mean and a different test with independent sample t-test and one-way ANOVA. The results of the study show that the learning agility of millennial generation employees is in the medium category. The highest average score is obtained by the interpersonal acumen dimension and the lowest average score is obtained by the feedback responsiveness dimension. The difference test found no difference in learning agility based on gender and age, but found differences in the feedback responsiveness dimension based on gender and on the self insight dimension based on age. Keywords : Learning Agility, Employees, Millennial Generation, Generation Z Generasi Y atau milenial dan Generasi Z adalah generasi yang sudah berkembang pesat di era revolusi industri 4.0 yang mana bidang perekonomian dan bisnis bergulir begitu cepat, selalu berubah dan dinamis, ini menjadikan mereka sebagai aset untuk perusahaan dan pelaku bisnis khususnya. Sehingga dalam menghadapi tantangan perubahan industri ini, kedua generasi ini memerlukan learning agility. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa tingkat learning agility pada karyawan generasi milenial di Jakarta. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 443 responden laki - laki dan perempuan dengan kriteria yang dimiliki ialah karyawan generasi milenial dan generasi Z yaitu rentang usia 18 - 37 tahun. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik accidental sampling. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif analisa deskriptif. Alat ukur disusun berdasarkan tujuh dimensi learning agility. Teknik analisa data deskriptif menggunakan perbandingan mean hipotetik dan mean empirik dan uji beda dengan independent sample t-test dan one-way ANOVA. Hasi penelitian menunjukkan learning agility karyawan generasi milenial berada pada kategori sedang. Skor rata-rata paling tinggi diperoleh dimensi interpensonal acumen dan skor rata-rata terendah diperoleh dimensi feedback responsiveness. Uji perbedaan ditemukan tidak ada perbedaan learning agility berdasarkan jenis kelamin dan usia, namun ditemukan perbedaan pada dimensi feedback responsiveness berdasarkan jenis kelamin dan pada dimensi self insight berdasarkan usia.
