Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul "Aktivitas Komunikasi di LA Production Saat Masa Pandemi Covid-19". Krisis merupakan suatu keadaan yang tak terduga, dengan tingkat ketidakpastian yang tinggi serta mengancam bagi keberlangsungan dan stabilitas perusahaan. LA Production merupakan penyelenggara acara yang menghadapi situasi krisis dan berdampak pada kegiatan operasional serta mengancam reputasi perusahaan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui aktivitas komunikasi karyawan LA Production dengan klien. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu manajemen krisis yang didalamnya mencangkup tahap-tahap krisis pada suatu perusahaan dan juga cara untuk menjaga dan meningkatkan reputasi perusahaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif studi kasus untuk menyelidiki dan memahami aktivitas komunikasi karyawan LA Production terhadap klien dengan metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diketahui bahwa LA Production hanya merespon krisis sesuai dengan situasi dan kondisi dikarenakan tidak memiliki perencanaan manajemen krisis sebelumnya. Upaya dalam mempertahankan reputasi yaitu berkomunikasi dengan stakeholder secara terbuka agar tidak ada kesalahpahaman mengenai situasi krisis yang terjadi dan juga menerapkan protokol kesehatan sesuai dengan ketetapan Pemerintah. Selain itu LA Production melakukan (Corporate Social Responsibility) CSR dan marketing untuk membantu perusahaan agar tetap beroperasi. This research is titled “Communication Activity at LA Production During The Pandemic Covid-19”. Crisis is an unprecedented state with high level of uncertainty that posses high risk to company continuity and stability. LA production is one of the event organizer company that faces the crisis which impact in organization operation and further threatening the company reputation. The objective of this study is to known the communication activities between LA Production’s staff and the clients. The theory being used in this study is Crisis Management which contain crisis steps in a company and how to maintain and increase company reputation. This study is using the quantiative to enquire and to understand the communication activities between LA Production’s staff and the clients. The research at LA production's staff communication activity to the client using data collection method by conducting interviews and documentations. Based on the study that author have conducted, author found that LA production just reactively responding the crisis based on the current situation and condition without planning in advance on the crisis management. The company effort to maintain its reputation to the client is by creating an open communication environment with the stakeholder, in order to prevents misunderstood about the current ongoing crisis, and conform to goverment regulation in health protocol. Furthermore LA production is also doing (Corporate Social Responsibility) CSR and Marketing to maintain its company operation
