Abstract

ABSTRAK Salah satu budaya yang sedang berkembang dikalangan remaja Indonesia saat ini adalah budaya fanatis terhadap idol grup yang membawa identitas dari Negara asalnya. Dengan mengusung konsep idol group dari Jepang, JKT48 berhasil membangun pengaruh yang kuat dikalangan penggemar remaja. Idol grup JKT48 sangat lekat dengan budaya pop Jepang setelah anime dan manga. Beberapa karakter budaya yang dibawa diantaranya jenis musik, gaya berpakaian, hingga konsep grup yang sedang berkembang di Jepang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa pengaruh dari karakter budaya pop Jepang pada idol grup JKT48 terhadap persepsi remaja siswa SMAN 92 Jakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Melalui konsep persepsi sebagai sebuah pengalaman tentang objek, peristiwa atau hubungan-hubungan yang diperoleh dengan menyimpulkan informasi dan menafsirkan pesan, hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan pengujian statistik regresi untuk mengukur tingkat pengaruh dari variabel. Hasil penelitian disimpulkan, terdapat pengaruh variabel karakter budaya pop Jepang pada JKT48 terhadap persepsi remaja siswa SMAN 92 Jakarta dengan nilai koefisien determinasi (R2 ) sebesar 91,2%. With the concept of idol group from Japan, JKT48 managed to build a strong influence among teenage fans. Idol group JKT48 is very close to Japanese pop culture after anime and manga. Some of the cultural characters that brought between the type of music, style of dress, until the concept of a group that is developing in Japan. This study aims to analyze the influence of Japanese pop culture character on Idol group JKT48 on the perception of junior high school students of Jakarta. The research method used is descriptive method with quantitative approach. Through the concept of perception as an experience of objects, events or relationships obtained by concluding information and interpreting messages, the results of the study were analyzed by regression statistical tests to measure the degree of influence of the variables. The result of this research concluded that there is influence of Japanese pop culture characteristic variable in JKT48 toward the perception of junior high school student of Jakarta SMAN 92 with determination coefficient value (R2) equal to 91,2%. The character of Japanese pop culture is very strong on the idol group JKT48 according to the perception of the students is the character Kawaii.
