Abstract
This research is to know the level of production efficiency before and after the addition of production machine and also the linkage of employee performance and production support facilities provided by department workshop management. The object of research is workshop department of PT. United Can Company LTD. which is located in West Jakarta. This study was conducted on 64 respondents. Comparative descriptive is used to describe the efficiency of production before and after the addition of machinery. Quantitative descriptive is used to explain the linkage of employee performance and production support facilities that have been provided to increase productivity. Therefore, the data analysis used is the result of a report derived from the PPIC section of the department workshop and the statistical descriptive analysis in the mean score. The results showed that the efficiency of department production workshop of PT. United Can Company LTD. increased from sufficient category to good after added production machine and speed improvement in the completion of work from 7 months to 6 months in the specified production period. The relevance of employee performance and production support facilities that have been provided in production efficiency. This is evidenced from the results of the average value of employee performance in enough categories and production support facilities in good category. Keywords: production efficiency, employee performance, production facility Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tingkat efisiensi produksi sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan penambahan mesin produksi dan juga keterkaitan kinerja karyawan serta fasilitas penunjang produksi yang disediakan oleh pihak manajemen workshop department. Objek penelitian adalah workshop department PT. United Can Company LTD. yang berlokasi di Jakarta Barat. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap 64 responden. Deskriptif komparatif digunakan untuk menjelaskan efisiensi produksi sebelum dan sesudah penambahan mesin. Deskriptif kuantitatif digunakan untuk menjelaskan keterkaitan kinerja karyawan dan fasilitas penunjang produksi yang yang telah disediakan guna meningkatkan produktifitas. Oleh karena itu, analisis data yang digunakan adalah hasil laporan yang berasal dari bagian PPIC workshop department dan analisis deskriptif statistik dalam nilai rata – rata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efisiensi produksi workshop department PT. United Can Company LTD. meningkat dari kategori cukup menjadi baik setelah ditambahkan mesin produksi dan peningkatan kecepatan dalam penyelesaian pekerjaan dari 7 bulan menjadi 6 bulan pada periode produksi yang telah ditentukan. Adapun keterkaitan kinerja karyawan dan fasilitas penunjang produksi yang telah disediakan dalam efisiensi produksi. Hal ini dibuktikan dari hasil nilai rata – rata kinerja karyawan dalam kategori cukup dan fasilitas penunjang produksi dalam kategori baik.
