Abstract

Televisi Republik Indonesia as one of the government agencies in the field of television, implementing a VPN network to be able to connect with branch offices throughout Indonesia in private. VPN network technology uses the internet as a medium for transmitting data to the destination, but in a VPN network at PT. TVRI is still a frequent collision, congestion and freeze video. Therefore this study aims to be able to measure and analyze the Quality Of Service parameters on a VPN Network at PT. TVRI (Persero), as well as knowing the effect of Quality of Service on VPN Networks at PT. TVRI (persero). The first test shows that the lowest throughput value is when sending a data packet in the form of an image that is 0.45 Mbit / s. The second test shows that the lowest throughput value is when sending a data packet in the form of an image that is 0.88 Mbit / s. The third test shows that the lowest throughput value is when sending a data packet in the form of an image that is 0.44 Mbit / s. in this Quality of Service analysis the absence of Packet Loss that occurs when sending data packages in the form of Applications, Documents, Images, Videos, Sounds. Because it uses the VPN network for sending data and monitoring broadcasting throughout the region. Keywords : VPN, collision, congestion, video freeze, QoS, Jaringan, Wireshark Televisi Republik Indonesia sebagai salah satu instansi pemerintahan dibidang pertelevisian, menerapkan jaringan VPN untuk dapat terhubung dengan kantor cabang yang ada di seluruh Indonesia secara private. Teknologi jaringan VPN menggunakan internet sebagai media transmisi data ke tempat yang dituju, Tetapi dalam jaringan VPN di PT. TVRI masih sering terjadi collision, congestion dan video freeze. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk dapat mengukur dan menganalisa parameter Quality Of Service pada Jaringan VPN di PT. TVRI (persero), serta mengetahui pengaruh Quality of Service pada Jaringan VPN di PT. TVRI (persero). Di pengujian pertama terlihat nilai throughput paling rendah adalah saat melakukan pengiriman paket data berupa Gambar yaitu 0,45 Mbit/s. Di pengujian kedua terlihat nilai throughput paling rendah adalah saat melakukan pengiriman paket data berupa Gambar yaitu 0,88 Mbit/s. Di pengujian ketiga terlihat nilai throughput paling rendah adalah saat melakukan pengiriman paket data berupa Gambar yaitu 0,44 Mbit/s. pada analisa Quality of Service ini tidak adanya Packet Loss yang terjadi pada saat melakukan pengiriman paket data berupa Aplikasi, Dokumen, Gambar, Video, Suara. Karena menggunakan jaringan vpn untuk pengiriman data dan melakukan memonitoring penyiaran diseluruh daerah. Kata Kunci : VPN, Collision, Congestion, Video Freeze, QoS, Jaringan, Wireshark
