Abstract

ABSTRAK PT. MNI merupakan perusahaan manufaktur yang bergerak di bidang Flavor dan Fragrance. Sifat produksi dalam perusahaan ini adalah make to order dan masih banyak menggunakan tenaga manusia khususnya di bagian Quality Control. Dalam hal ini belum adanya pembagian job description yang jelas antar pekerja membuat ketimpangan pekerjaan antar pekerja sehingga jumlah overtime meningkat. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah melakukan perhitungan beban kerja yang diterima oleh pekerja dengan metode Workload Analysis, diawali dengan menghitung besarnya persentase produktif dengan menggunakan Work Sampling, kemudian menentukan besarnya nilai Performance Rating dengan metode Westinghouse, menghitung nilai Allowance dengan Tabel Industrial Labour Organization (ILO) Allowance dan tahap akhir menghitung beban kerja dengan metode Workload Analysis dan menentukan jumlah pekerja optimal. Hasil perhitungan beban kerja diperoleh bahwa beban kerja yang diterima oleh masingmasing pekerja 1 (DAR) sebesar 107%, pekerja 2 (JBH) memiliki beban kerja 102%, pekerja 3 (HEW) memiliki beban kerja 90%, pekerja 4 (DKA) memiliki beban kerja 107%, pekerja 5 (HAS) memiliki beban kerja 109% dan pekerja 6 (YUD) memiliki beban kerja 91%.. Beban kerja pekerja 1, 2, 4 dan 5 diatas 100%. Usulan rekomendasi perbaikan yang diusulkan adalah dengan menambah satu orang pekerja pada divisi flavor menjadi 4 orang pekerja atau dengan memberikan over time kepada pekerja yang memiliki kelebihan beban kerja diatas 100%. The production in this company is make to order and still use a lot of human power, especially in the Quality Control department. In this case the job description is not clear between the workers so the amount of overtime increases. The methods to calculate the workload received by workers using the Workload Analysis method, beginning with calculating the percentage of productive using Work Sampling, then determining the value of Performance Rating using the Westinghouse method, calculating the Allowance value with the Industrial Labor Organization (ILO) Table Allowance and the final stage calculate the workload with the Workload Analysis method and determine the optimal number of workers. The workload calculation results obtained that the workload received by each worker 1 (DAR) is 107%, workers 2 (JBH) have a workload of 102%, workers 3 (HEW) have a workload of 90%, workers 4 (DKA) has a workload of 107%, workers 5 (HAS) have a workload of 109% and workers 6 (YUD) have a workload of 91%. Workloads of workers 1, 2, 4 and 5 are above 100%. The proposed proposed improvement is to add one worker in the flavor division to 4 workers or by giving over time to workers who have excess workload above 100%.
