Abstract

ABSTRAK Kualitas merupakan hal yang sangat penting dalam perusahaan komponen otomotif, dengan kualitas yang baik maka jumlah komplain pelanggan akan berkurang yang merupakan tujuan semua perusahaan agar kepercayaan pelanggan dapat terjaga. Terdapat komplain yang dominan dari produk jadi smart keyset karena disebabkan proses machining. Defect pada bulan januari sampai maret 2019 di area proses machining melebihi toleransi maksimal defect perusahaan yaitu 0,5%. Perusahaan komponen otomotif merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang manufaktur. Untuk mencapai semua itu maka dibutuhkan upaya penyelesaian agar target defect perusahaan dapat tercapai. Setiap masalah yang terjadi harus diselesaikan sampai akar permasalahannya, maka dibutuhkan metode yang tepat dan cepat, salah satu metode untuk penanganan masalah defect pada suatu proses manufaktur adalah dengan pendekatan metode PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Action). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor penyebab terjadinya produk reject Reamer Over pada proses machining body 53K, Menentukan perbaikan yang dilakukan untuk menurunkan jumlah defect Reamer Over pada proses machining body 53K dan mengetahui persentase penurunan reject reamer over setelah dilakukan perbaikan agar tidak melebihi toleransi defect perusahaan. Selanjutnya dilakukan perbaikan dengan menganalisa kualitas produk dilihat dari cacat produk yang ada, dengan menganalisa kualitas produk dan dilakukan usaulan-usulan untuk perbaikan melakukan analisa why-why anlysis. Didapatkan bahwa defect dominan atau defect pareto pada area machining body 53K sebelumnya 0,79% (melebihi maksimal toleransi defect perusahaan 0,5%). Setelah dilakukan perbaikan dan monitoring selama tiga bulan persentase defect machining tersebut menjadi 0,12% dari total produksi atau turun sebesar 0.67%. Kata kunci : Kualitas, reamer over, machining, kaizen, PDCA ABSTRACT Quality is very important in automotive component companies, with good quality, the number of customer complaints will decrease which is the goal of all companies so that customer confidence can be maintained. There is a dominant complaint of a smart key set because it is caused by the machining process. Defect from January to March 2019 in the machining process area exceeds the company's maximum defect tolerance of 0.5%. The automotive component company is a company engaged in manufacturing. In order to achieve all of that, settlement efforts are needed so that the company's defect target can be achieved. Every problem that occurs must be resolved to the root of the problem, then the right and fast method is needed, one method for handling defect problems in a manufacturing process is the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Action) approach. This study aims to identify the factors that cause the reject Reamer Over product in the 53K machining body process, Determine the improvements made to reduce the amount of Reamer Over defect in the 53K machining body process and determine the percentage of reject reamer over reduction after repairs so as not to exceed the defect tolerance company. Furthermore, improvements are made by analyzing the quality of the product seen from existing product defects, by analyzing the quality of the product and making suggestions for improvement by analyzing why-why anlysis. It was found that the dominant defect or pareto defect in the 53K machining body area was previously 0.79% (exceeding the company's maximum defect tolerance of 0.5%). After repairs and monitoring for three months, the percentage of defect machining became 0.12% of total production or decreased by 0.67%. Keywords: Quality, reamer over, machining, kaizen, PDCA.
