Abstract
This study aims to examine the effect of Internal Locus of Control, Leadership Styleand Corporate Culture on Job Competency with Work Motivation as an intervening variable at PT. Bangunperkasa Adhitamasentra. The number of respondents involved in this study was 86 respondents, all respondents were employees of PT. Bangunperkasa Adhitamasentra plant Citeureup at Supervisor and Manager level. This study uses a quantitative approach using primary data obtained from the results of distributing questionnaires. The data from filling out the questionnaire were then analyzed using the Partial Least Square analysis technique with the help of the SmartPLS program. Based on the results of the analysis in this study, the following results were obtained: (1) Internal Locus of Control has a significant effect on Work Motivation; (2) Leadership Style has a significant effect on Work Motivation; (3) Corporate Culture has a significant effect on Work Motivation; (4) Internal Locus of control has a significant effect on Job Competency; (5) Leadership Style has a significant effect on Job Competency; (6) Corporate Culture has a significant effect on Job Competency; (7) Work Motivation has a significant effect on Job Competency. Overall the results of this study indicate that Work Motivation can mediate the influence of Internal Locus of Control, Corporate Culture and Leadership Style on employee Job Competency, high Internal Locus of Control, Corporate Culture and Leadership Style at PT. Bangunperkasa Adhitamasentra will increase employee Work Motivation which in turn will increase employee Job Competency.Keywords: Internal Locus of Control, Corporate Culture, Leadership Style, Work Motivation, Job Competency, Partial Least Square Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh Internal Locus of Control, Leadership Style dan Corporate Culture terhadap Job Competency dengan Work Motivation sebagai variabel intervening di PT. Bangunperkasa Adhitamasentra. Jumlah responden yang dilibatkan dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 86 responden, seluruh responden adalah karyawan PT. Bangunperkasa Adhitamasentra plant Citeureup pada level Supervisor dan Manager. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif yang menggunakan data primer yang diperoleh dari hasil penyebaran kuesioner. Data hasil pengisian kuesioner selanjutnya dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis Partial Least Square dengan bantuan program SmartPLS. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dalam penelitian ini, diperoleh beberapa hasil sebagai berikut : (1) InternalLocus of Controlberpengaruh signifikan terhadap Work Motivation; (2) Leadership Styleberpengaruh signifikan terhadap Work Motivation; (3) Corporate Cultureberpengaruh signifikan terhadap Work Motivation; (4) Internal Locus of Controlberpengaruh signifikan terhadap Job Competency; (5) Leadership Style berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Job Competency; (6) Corporate Cultureberpengaruh signifikan terhadap Job Competency; (7) Work Motivationberpengaruh signifikan terhadap Job Competency. Secara keseluruhan hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Work Motivation dapat memediasi pengaruh Internal Locus of Control, Corporate Culture dan Leadership Style terhadap Job Competency karyawan, tingginya Internal Locus of Control, Corporate Culturedan Leadership Style di PT. Bangunperkasa Adhitamasentra akan meningkatkan Work Motivation karyawan yang selanjutnya akan meningkatkan Job Competencykaryawan.
