Abstract

With the development of the tourism sector in the city of Yogyakarta, it takes lodging that can be rented by visitors to spend the night and enjoy the tourist area. Kaliurang is an area that has a variety of tourist objects and has a mountainous atmosphere that is often in demand by tourists to visit or just stay overnight, making it suitable for the construction of temporary resting buildings. The people of Yogyakarta still adhere to their customs and culture, so that development will dorespect the surrounding community by taking Neo-Vernacular approaches both physically and non-physically from the architecture and philosophy that the Javanese people believe in, especially the kora Yogyakarta community. With the construction of this resort, it is hoped that it will become a place to rest, travel and become an iconic building to enjoy the culture of the place. Keywords: Villa, Hotel, Neo - Vernacular, Java, Kaliurang Dengan berkembangnya sektor pariwisata di kota Yogyakarta, Dibutuhkan Penginapan yang dapat di sewa oleh pengunjung untuk bermalam dan menikmati kawasan wisata tersebut. Kaliurang adalah kawasan yang memiliki objek wisata yang beragam dan memiliki suasanya pegunungan yang sering diminati oleh wisatawan untuk berkunjung atau sekadar menginap, sehingga sesuai untuk pembangunan bangunan peristirahatan sementara. Masyarakat Yogyakarta masih sangat memegang teguh adat istiadat dan budaya nya, sehingga pembangunan akan menghargai masyarakat sekitar dengan melakukan pendekatan-pendekatan Neo - Vernakular baik fisik maupun non fisik dari arsitektur dan filosofi yang dipercayai masyarakat jawa khususnya masyarakat kora Yogyakarta. Dengan dibangunya tempat peristirahatan ini, diharapkan menjadi tempat beristirahat, berwisata maupun menjadi bangunan ikonik untuk menikmati budaya di tempat tersebut.
