Abstract

The role of tourism is very supportive for the progress and development of the country's foreign exchange. As one of the areas that is very much in demand by foreign tourists and domestic tourists is the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY), especially the Kaliurang area. Kaliurang is one of the tourist attractions in the Yogyakarta area which is the most popular tourist destination in Indonesia after Bali. It has natural, cultural and special interest. One of the popular tourist attractions is Borobudur Temple which is one of the wonders of the world. . This has resulted in tourism becoming the main source of life for people in the Yogyakarta area, so that the service sector has become the dominant leading sector, one of which is the need for resting places such as villas & hotels. The diversity of tourist backgrounds is a factor that must be considered in relation to building design. With a touch of Venakular Architectural Design, it does not leave local culture and Green Community nature will always be well preserved Keywords : Kaliurang, Villa & Hotel, Arsitektur Venakular, Green Community Peran pariwisata sangat mendukung untuk kemajuan dan perkembangan devisa negara. Sebagai salah satu daerah yang sangat banyak diminati oleh wisatawan asing dan wisatawan domestic adalah Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY) khususnya daerah Kaliurang. Kaliurang merupakan salah satu tempat wisata yang berada di daerah Yogyakarta yang merupakan destinasi wisata paling populer di Indonesia setelah Bali, memiliki daya tarik wisata baik itu alam, budaya maupun minat khusus Salah satu yang tempat wisata popular yaitu Candi Borobudur yang merupakan salah satu dari keajaiban dunia. Hal ini mengakibatkan pariwisata menjadi sumber kehidupan utama bagi masyarakat di daerah Yogyakarta, sehingga sector jasa menjadi leading sector yang dominan salah satunya yaitu kebutuhan tempat peristirahatan seperti Villa & Hotel. Keberagaman latar belakang wisatawan menjadi faktor yang harus diperhatikan dalam kaitannya dengan rancangan bangunan. Dengan Sentuhan Desain Arsitektur Venakular tidak meninggalkan budaya local dan Green Community alam akan selalu terjaga dengan baik Kata Kunci : Kaliurang, Villa & Hotel, Arsitektur Venakular, Green Community
