Abstract

Abstract – The research was conducted on Daihatsu Sigra Disc Brake with cc 1200. The aim of this reseach to study the dynamic characteristic of disc brake made by Indonesian automobile manufacturer with bump test measurment. In this research response of vibration, its measure in three point i.e : point A called disc brake smaller diameter, B center diameter and C outer diameter with the arrangement of the accelerometer sensor around the disbrake surface and take the datum point as bump test. Interval frequence are 1 – 1000 Hz. In this research refered that frequency appear due to global mode shape. The global modus vibration occured in own frequency of 40, 53, 62, 116, 123, 304, 557 Hz. while own frequency in other interlaced with local mode shape, because of appear in one point measure only. Keywords: Characteristic, dynamic, disc brake Daihatsu Sigra, bump test , mode shape. Abstrak – Penelitian ini dilakukan pada sistem Disc Brake Daihatsu Sigra dengan silinder 1200 cc. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mempelajari karakateristik dinamika pada sistem disc brake Daihatsu Sigra buatan pabrik mobil Indonesia. Pengujian dilakukan dengan pengukuran metode Bump Test. Pada penelitian ini, response getaran diukur pada tiga puluh titik yaitu dibagi kedalam 3 bagian A(diameter dalam), B (diameter tengah), C (diameter luar): dengan penempatan sensor accelerometer melingkari Disc Brake secara bergantian dan dilakukan pemukulan di satu titik sebagai titik uji bump test. Rentang frekuensi yang digunakan adalah 1 – 1000 Hz. Pada penelitian ini, menunjukkan bahwa frekuensi pribadi tersebut muncul karena adanya modus getar global. Modus getar global terjadi pada frekuensi pribadi 40, 53, 62, 116, 123, 304, 557 Hz. Sedangkan frekuensi pribadi yang lain berkaitan dengan modus getar lokal, karena hanya muncul pada satu titik pengukuran saja. Kata kunci: Karakteristik, dinamik, disc brake Daihatsu Sigra, bump test, modus getaran.
