Abstract

PT.Prakasalanggeng Maju Bersama or widely known as MAJU BERSAMA is a leading company in Indonesia in the fields of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) for the Hygienic, Chemical and Energy process industries. The company is engaged in the Stell Fabricating business. Quality phenomena that occur during January - August 2018 at PT. Prakasalanggeng Maju Together there are high defects that occur in the welding section, namely IF (Incomplate Fusion) of 56% which is located on the Las Argon machine that produces Stainless Steel Tanks. It aims to find out the highest type of defect and provide recommendations for improvement with the method used is DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) by calculating the company's sigma value and using FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) tools to provide recommendations for proposed improvements towards the causes of problems that are urgent to be repaired. Define stage makes it to identify VOC (Voice of Customer) to determine the description of CTQ (Critical To Quality). In the Measure stage, the calculation of the sigma value is obtained by the DPMO value of 279,661.0169 with a sigma value of 231 using the pareto diagram in the Analyze stage and the cause of the welder using the Cause-Effect Diagram is obtained. In the Improve stage, the calculation of FMEA is obtained by the most potential cause factors with a value of RPN (Risk Priority Number) of 294 so that it becomes a priority for repairs ... proposed improvements and elaborated through analysis of 5W + 1H on Improve step. Next is given a control proposal to avoid new problems in the Control phase. Keywords: DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control), Six Sigma, FMEA, Pareto Diagram PT.Prakasalanggeng Maju Bersama atau dikenal luas sebagai MAJU BERSAMA adalah perusahaan terkemuka di Indonesia dalam bidang Engineering, Procurement, dan Construction (EPC) untuk industri proses Higienis, Kimia, dan Energi. Perusahaan bergerak di bidang usaha Stell Fabricating. Fenomena kualitas yang terjadi selama bulan Januari – Agustus 2018 di PT.Prakasalanggeng Maju Bersama terdapat tingginya defect yang terjadi pada bagian pengelasan yaitu IF (Incomplate Fusion) sebesar 56% yang berada pada mesin Las Argon yang memproduksi Tangki Stainless Steel, Dengan fenomena tersebut maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis defect yang tertinggi dan memberikan rekomendasi perbaikan dengan Metode yang digunakan adalah DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) dengan menghitung nilai sigma perusahaan serta menggunakan tools FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) untuk memberikan rekomendasi usulan perbaikan terhadap penyebab permasalahan yang mendesak untuk dilakukan perbaikan. Tahap Define membuat untuk mengidentifikasi VOC (Voice of Customer) untuk menentukan deskripsi dari CTQ (Critical To Quality). Pada tahap Measure, hasil perhitungan nilai sigma diperoleh nilai DPMO sebesar 279.661.0169 dengan nilai sigma sebesar 231 menggunakan diagram pareto di tahap Analyze serta diperoleh penyebab welder menggunakan Diagram Sebab-Akibat. Pada tahap Improve, perhitungan FMEA diperoleh faktor penyebab permasalahan yang paling potensial dengan nilai RPN (Risk Priority Number) sebesar 294 sehingga menjadi prioritas untuk dilakukan perbaikan.. usulan perbaikan dan dijabarkan melalui analisis 5W+1H pada tahap Improve. Selanjutnya diberikan usulan pengendalian untuk menghindari timbulnya masalah baru pada tahap Control. Kata Kunci: DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control), Six Sigma, FMEA, diagram pareto
