Abstract

The presence of the @Lambe_Turah gossip account that shares information about the lives of celebrities in Indonesia has really given an idea of how difficult it is to maintain the privacy of life as an artist in the capital. But with the @Lambe_Turah account, it makes it easy for Instagram users, especially among students, to get the latest information. the account also not only shares information about Indonesian celebrities, but also about other general information. The research method used is a qualitative research method with a reception analysis approach. The basic theory used is the theory of information integration about how the information shared is integrated into absolute information, grapevine theory about informal dissemination of rumors and the uses and gratification theory, describing how instagram users and followers of the @Lambe_Turah account interpret this. Data obtained through in-depth interviews involving five respondents. The data generated is described through three positions, namely the dominant hegemony of two people and the negotiation position of three people and no one is in the position of opposition. Result for this research show that the majority of respondences stay in the negotiated position. Keyword : Reception, Gossip, Posting Kehadiran akun gossip @Lambe_Turah yang membagikan informasi mengenai kehidupan selebriti di Indonesia sudah sangat memberikan gambaran betapa sulitnya menjaga privasi kehidupan menjadi artis di Ibukota. Namun dengan adanya akun @Lambe_Turah membuat para pengguna instagram khususnya di kalangan mahasiswa, menjadi mudah untuk mendapatkan informasi terbaru, karena akun tersebut juga tidak hanya membagikan informasi tentang selebriti Indonesia, tetapi juga tentang informasi umum lainnya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis resepsi. Teori dasar yang digunakan adalah teori integrasi informasi tentang bagaimana informasi yang dibagikan terintyegrasi menjadi informasi yang absolut, teori grapevine tentang penyebaran desas desus secara informal dan teori uses and gratification, menggambarkan bagaimana para pengguna instagram dan pengikut akun @Lambe_Turah memaknai adanya hal tersebut. Data diperoleh melalui in-depth interview dengan melibatkan lima responden. Data yang dihasilkan digambarkan melalui tiga posisi, yaitu hegemoni dominan dua orang serta pada posisi negosiasi tiga orang dan tidak ada yang berada pada posisi oposisi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas responden berada pada posisi negosiasi. Kata Kunci : Resepsi, Gosip, Postingan
