Abstract
This study aims to determine the best location for ornamental fish traders and other animal traders by evaluating observations, interviews by obtaining criteria and alternatives in the Jatinegara city Administration district in East Jakarta. This research was conducted on thirty respondents using a quantitative descriptive approach. The process of making location determination criteria using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. five main criteria were produced, namely licensing, economic conditions, transportation, and social and cultural conditions. licensing criteria with the largest weighting f 45.8%, the criteria of economic conditions with a weighting value of 24.0%, the third priority transportation criteria with a weighted value of 18.5%, and the last priority four by social and cultural criteria with a weight rating of 11.6%. While the results of the alternative determination of the location of ornamental fish traders and other animals put the location of RT 010 into the best location and location of RT 009 to be the worst location among the three alternatives. Keywords: Merchant location, Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan lokasi terbaik bagi pedagang ikan hias dan pedagang hewan lainnya dengan melakukan evaluasi observasi, wawancara dengan mendapatkan kriteria dan alternatif di Kecamatan Jatinegara kota administrasi jakarta timur. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap tiga puluh orang responden dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Proses pembuatan kriteria penentuan lokasi dengan menggunakan metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). dengan menggunakan metode lima kriteria yaitu perizinan, kondisi ekonomi, transportasi, dan sosial dan budaya. Dengan kriteria perizinan dengan nilai bobot 45,8%, prioritas kedua kriteria kondisi ekonomi dengan nilai bobot 24,0%, prioritas ketiga kriteria transportasi dengan nilai bobot 18,5%, dan prioritas keempat kriteria sosial dan budaya dengan nilai bobot 11,6%. Sedangkan hasil dari alternatif penentuan lokasi pedagang ikan hias dan hewan lainnya menempatkan lokasi RT 010 menjadi lokasi terbaik dan lokasi RT 009 menjadi lokasi terburuk diantara tiga alternatif tersebut.
