Abstract
In the current era, there are still many business ventures in the world whose production and distribution processes of products are influenced by the effects of climate change and natural phenomena. One of the natural phenomena that is often encountered in tropical regions is lightning where Indonesia is one of them with a geographical 17,504 island separated by the ocean through the Pacific ring of fire and the Alpide belt and is one of the tropical countries with fairly high with 200 days thunder so that Indonesia is included in the category of countries that are vulnerable to lightning strikes. Coal mining business services in anticipation of lightning strikes by using lightning suppliers to anticipate lightning strikes so that they can be muted properly, but some strikes have caused damage to company assets to reach Rp 6 billion, so research is needed to analyze the influence of design, Key Performance Indicator (KPI), and lightning protection Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) against lightning strike losses and their development in the Coal Mining Business Services Industry in the framework of implementing Law No. 1 of 1970 concerning work safety and Regulation of the Minister of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia Number: PER/02.MEN/1989 concerning supervision of the installation of lightning suppliers and the achievement of production and protection of company assets. This analysis uses dummy regression with Minitab software to provide answers to the influence of Design, KPI, SOP of Lightning Protection in protecting company assets from lightning strike and using Quality Control Circle (QCC) methods in improvement. In the final results it was found that Design and implementation SOP had a significant influence on losses due to lightning strikes and in the process of improving the new design (Design D) could provide better protection for company assets of PT XYZ so that in 2019 no damage to company assets or fatality damage would be found. due to direct lightning strikes. Pada era saat ini, masih banyak usaha bisnis di dunia yang proses produksi dan distribusinya dipengaruhi oleh dampak perubahan iklim dan fenomena alam. Salah satu fenomena alam yang sering ditemui di wilayah negara tropis adalah petir dimana Indonesia adalah salah satunya dengan letak geografis memiliki 17.504 pulau yang terpisah lautan dengan dilalui oleh cincin api Pasifik dan sabuk Alpide serta merupakan salah satu negara tropis dengan curah hujan yang cukup tinggi dengan 200 hari guruh sehingga Indonesia masuk dalam kategori negara yang rentan terhadap sambaran petir. Perusahaan yang bergerak pada jasa usaha pertambangan batubara dalam mengantisipasi sambaran petir dengan menggunakan penyalur petir guna mengantisipasi sambaran petir sehingga dapat diredam dengan baik, akan tetapi beberapa sambaran telah mengakibatkan kerusakan terhadap asset perusahaan hingga mencapat Rp 6 Milyar sehingga diperlukan penelitian analisa pengaruh design, Key Performance Indicator (KPI), dan Standar Operasion Prosedur (SOP) Lightning Protection terhadap kerugian sambaran petir dan pengembangannya pada Industri Jasa Usaha Pertambangan Batubara dalam rangka melaksanakan Undang Undang No.1 Tahun 1970 tentang Keselamatan kerja dan Peraturan Menteri Tenaga Kerja Republik Indonesia Nomor: PER/02.MEN/1989 mengenai pengawasan instalasi penyalur petir dan pencapaian produksi dan perlindungan terhadap asset perusahaan. Analisa ini mengunakan dummy regresi dengan menggunakan software Minitab dalam memberikan jawaban atas pengaruh Design, KPI dan pelaksanaan SOP penyalur petir dalam melindungi asset perusahaan dari sambaran petir serta menggunakan metode Quality Control Circle (QCC) dalam pengembangannya. Pada hasil akhirnya didapatkan bahwa Design dan pelaksanaan SOP memberikan pengaruh significant pada kerugian akibat sambaran petir dan dalam proses improvement design baru (Design D) dapat memberikan perlindungan pada asset perusahaan PT XYZ secara lebih baik dimana hingga tahun 2019 tidak ditemukan kerusakan asset perusahaan atau fatality damaged akibat sambaran petir langsung.
